Topic: Obama Denver Speech | |
---|---|
DENVER - Before an enormous crowd, Barack Obama promised a clean break from the “broken politics in Washington and the failed presidency of George W. Bush” Thursday night as he embarked on the final lap of his bid to become the nation's first black president.
“Now is not the time for small plans,” the 47-year-old Illinois senator told an estimated 84,000 people packed into Invesco Field, a huge football stadium in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains. This is a moment in history that will be remembered and talked about for a long time. His speech was very inspiring for all Americans. |

Yeah, and how many times have we heard this same rhetoric from the Republicrats? Four years from now, people will be complaining about the same things because nothing will ever change with our "one party" system. Americans have to be the most gullible people in the world to believe all the crap they hear out of their politicians.
You want change? Vote out the one party system. Vote for an Independent! |

True Duckie..Case in point, Bush..What has he done for this country?? Nothing...Why allow a carbon copy of Bush to lead this country further down the wrong path? I truly believe Obama could lead this country back in the right direction.

GO AWAY LINDYY. THIS IS A HISTORIC MOMENT AND YOU ARE RUINING IT. OH would not the left wing liberals just love it if the right Conservatives would go away......SORRY, BUT I FORCED MYSELF TO LISTEN TO the scowly face.....so that I could know what he is 'up to.' And he is not up to anything constructive or honest....his words were just that words....there was so much contradiction in what he said tonight as compared to what he has said right up to this very night..... He said he is going to do sooooooooo much....anyone with a pea for a brain knows that 99% of what he 'said' he would do could NOT AND WOULD NOT be accomplished....and apparently he does not listen to the news as to WHAT IS going on in the world....you cannot sit down and have 'tea and crumpets' with the likes of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad....the SURGE did work...but obama refuses to admit it....and on and on and on I could go.... oh, genius, pure genius that empty suit is....please get me a pooper scooper.... Lindyy |
