I do have a bit of a busy life Not too busy to be posting here. You see... this is why no one convinces me. I told you i read his website. No one here can actually defend the man. I am trying to critically think here, but no one seems to want to. Drivinmenutz....there is no defending the man...I forced myself to listen to him....and I became even more disgusted with his deceitfulness....manipulations....THAT IS WHAT the people here cannot comprehend...THEY WERE MANIPULATED.....all caught up in the moment...but that is EXACTLY what is was tonight...a mere moment....empty and manipulative....nothing else... LINDYY  Honestly Lindy, i am thinking you are right. After hearing his earlier speachings and reading things from his website i have discovered a man who is a talented public speaker. Unfortunately i haven't really seen anything of substance from the man's speaches. I think people looked at what happened under the Bush administration, and now blame everything on republicans. Natually many people would be leaning democrat, and when you combine that with Obama's public speaking ability, you have a lot of die-hards that want so badly to hear his beautiful words. They don't always think that maybe a democrat can be corrupt too... Obama said in his speech tonight that it is not the responsibility of Government to do everything for you, but they can inspire you to do good things for America. It reminded me of the JFK speech. I do like that, and i agree that it's very much like JFK's speech. I just trying to see if his plans follow suit with his supposed philosophies. |

Furthermore i believe i posted earlier that i am more interested in a third party. Preferably one of liberitarian beliefs. I don't see republican or democrat. I try to look at the ideas. |

He stood firm against the Soviet Union on their deployment of nuclear missles in Cuba, the USSR blinked and we won that stand off. They removed the missles. |

I always seek to understand when people agree with Lindyy. This is good. In the quest for understanding we may all grow wiser. However, i was not talking down on Obama. I did mention earlier that i didn't like McCain. I am questing to understand what so many people see in Obama, other than his public speaking ability. As i said before i WANT to like him. |

Lindyy The man from Illinois, served 8 years in the Illinois legislature, served 1 year in the US Congress. Abraham Lincoln. Same service as Barack Obama except Obama has 2 years in the Senate. Can you name one thing Lincoln accomplished before he was elected president? LINCOLN was elected because he INSPIRED the American people. |

Lindyy has no objectivity when it comes to Obama. None. She'd spout the same venom if the nominee was Clinton, Biden, Dodd, or any other person with a (D) beside their name.
