Sea World and The Zoo are real cool and all but if you came to my town for just a couple of days, I would probably take you to........

- The Glider Port (the parasailing is exciting and beautiful to watch)

- Spend time just chillin on the beach with no particular agenda

- Bella Roma up the street is a very reasonable Italian/Pizza joint up the street that has "acoustic open mic nights" where it's fun to hear some really good to really bad music.

Where would you take me?

...laugh or Where would you take someone you actually liked?

......If they came to your town.

Hmmm....there really isn't a whole lot around here.

I'd probably take someone on a trip up M-25 around the Thumb of Michigan. Maybe make a stop in Grindstone City....maybe Port Austin.

Either way, it's a beautiful drive on a summer afternoon.

There is absolutely NO PLACE to take you here, nothing to see..

Our current "claim to fame" is a giant replica of Van Goghs Sunflowers painting, apparently some people think its very cool, always tourist there..however we think its HORRID and was too expensive..Theres only 7 in the world and the only one in this country is here, I guess..

Well considering my "town" is only about an hour from your "town" I'm sure you have done all there is to do around here drinks

Fort Worden, was built during WW2 and still has a lot of the old bunkers, etc. (An Officer & A Gentleman was filmed there.)

Then a ferry boat ride to Whidbey Island to Fort Casey across the Straits, also have the old bunkers still there.

Maybe a trip to Deception Pass, is a beautiful park with great scenery.

Trip to Hurricane Ridge in the Olympics.

Maybe a trip to Victoria, BC, is really beautiful, about a 45 mile drive and ferry boat ride across the straits.

A trip to the Pacific Ocean and my favorite beach. Go farther down the ocean and maybe go on a chartered fishing trip for halibut or tuna.

Maybe a trip to Seattle, the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, etc., play tourist for the day. Seafood dinner at Ivar's, one of the best, is on the waterfront.

We have some nice local restaurants, lots of restaurants actually for such a small town. Certainly could find one you would like.

Maybe a trip on a whale watching boat.

Lots to do around here.
