*******************UPDATE*********************

Went to school where my daughter sat in office crying. I walked in and she RUNS to me screaming, " Mommy, He touched my bad place like my old dad did!"
We then walked into the priciples office. My daughter kept interupting saying her rump hurt. I asked her if mommy could judt look to see if there was a bruse.
OMG!!!!!
THERE WERE F*#@!ing 6 bruses on her rump!!! 3 were as big as half dollars! The other three were smaller . THEY ARE BLACK!!!
Well, I WENT CRAZY UP IN THERE!
TRY TO PUNISH MY DAUGHTER FOR PROTECTING HERSELF!
She said she told him to stop the first time and he laughed. She then told the principle and I both that she told the teacher when this happened , but was told it was not good to be a tattle tale!
GOES TO SHOW THAT EVEN WHEN YOUR RIGHT ABOUT TELLING THE TEACHERS SOME JUST DON'T GIVE A ST!T!
THIS HAPPENED ON THE PLAY GROUND!
THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THE LITTLE BOY HAS DONE THIS. PRINCIPLE STATES THEY HAD PLENTY OF PROBS WITH HE AND HIS FAMILY LAST YEAR OVER THIS TYPE OF STUFF!!!

SO JUST TO LET EVERYONE KNOW WHO MAY HAVE BEEN CONCERNED OR JUST WANTED TO BASH HER FOR WHAT SHE DID.......
SHE WAS 100% IN THE RIGHT!
BY THE WAY ... I ASKED HER PSYC AND HER MARTIAL ARTS INSTRUCTER TO MEET ME THERE AND SO THEY DID.

TOMORROW I WILL GO TO THE COURT HOUSE TO FILE CHARGES ON NOT ONLY THE SCHOOL, BUT THE TEACHER AS WELL.!explode explode explode explode explode explode explode explode explode explode explode explode explode explode explode explode explode explode explode explode explode explode explode explode explode explode explode explode explode explode

I ask those of you who were stating that Martial Arts should not be used in this way...
If the teacher won't help her and she is feeling THREATENED, is this still wrong in your eyes?
I just want to say that I'm terribly sorry this thing got so out of hand and I am so sorry that this happened to your daughter.

Also hon, just to make sure I was understood...I do think your daughter should be able to defend herself...especially when the school does not seem to be able to defend her at all in this case. My only point in my previous answer was that I think she could use pointers on how to do so more effectively for the circumstances. Like I said, the school should have dealt with it, after picking him up off the ground. I just don't feel going for the throat is something a 6 year old should be deciding out of anger, fear and frustration. That's all.

I hope your daughter gets her day. She does not deserve this kind of treatment and the school should have been more active in protecting her to begin with...especially against a boy with this kind of history. frown

I always told my daughter that if someone had hold of her, and she didn't want them to have hold of her, to get loose by any means necessary.

Your daughter may have done wrong by hitting the kid in the throat when a good punch to the nose would have sufficed, but I will also be in line to buy her an ice cream for standing up for herself.
