I'VE BEEN CURIOUS FOR YEARS NOW WHY PEOPLE KEEP THE REBEL, CIVIL WAR, SOUTHERN FLAG ALIVE AND WEAR IT LIKE A BADGE. I THOUGHT THAT WAS HISTORY AND WE WERE ALL AMERICANS AND ONE UNION. PLEASE ENLIGHTEN ME. I'VE BEEN WONDERING THIS FOR 5 DECADES  Some people just love controversy and look for it wherever they can.......or put it in wherever they can...  I am of Swedish, Irish and French descent....and I maintain and cherish little memoirs of such..... many people from the south simply hold on to their heritage and history for whatever reason...it is their personal right....
