Topic: Texting...The new street killer! | |
---|---|
Yeah I admit it. I used to think texting was retarded...until I got it. Now, I use it more than I talk on the phone itself. But at least I am safe about it. Now driving down the street at 65MPH texting...during rush hour!
Yes, I have seen this happen and nowadays people are texting more and more. And in all honesty, it is becoming a problem as people text while driving. Not good. |

You need to see the pics of the dismantled humans, lying on the road...charred beyond recognition...accident caused by a girl texting on the interstate...I am an insurance and received the pics....it would stop the texting while driving if everyone looked at it

Text messaging is great! It makes it so much easier for the government and businesses to see what you're up to. Every text message sent is kept by phone companies. Even insurance companies are looking at them now to see what you were doing at the time of a car accident. Everyone should text message as much as possible!

texting allows people to not have to worry about normal subtleties to conversation. it is pretty useful in that sense, and it also forces you to be concise.

i have never even owned a cell phone
and i get by just fine... so many people walk around in total " la la " land while they are crossing the street they never even look up or look left & right to see if someone is coming with their heads fixed on their annoying cell phone, they never pay attention...ever !!! I have ridden up on people so many times on my bike surprising them ... telling them to pay attention and I could have seriously hit them because they choose not to be observant and they don't use the eyes and ears that God Gave them ... to save themselves from impending danger.. or to save someone else from it it is so tragic... so very close minded extremely self centered and has caused serious debilitating injuries & has such catastrophic deadly consequences |

Both my daughters (11 & 8)got cellphones early this year.
The first week they texted about 200 to 350 msg each. Grandma was pissed because she had to pay an extra $10. This month, they texted about 0 to 4 msg combined. |

It is illegal in the state of Washington to use a cell phone while driving either talking or driving and it's a $150 find if you're busted, ain't worth it to me We need stiffer fines in California, because many of the folks here, just don't get it and are extremely crazy & irresponsible behind the wheel and really no matter what they do or where they go, they need to be much more considerate of others |
