Yeah I admit it. I used to think texting was retarded...until I got it. Now, I use it more than I talk on the phone itself. But at least I am safe about it. Now driving down the street at 65MPH texting...during rush hour!noway laugh

Yes, I have seen this happen and nowadays people are texting more and more. And in all honesty, it is becoming a problem as people text while driving. Not good.

You need to see the pics of the dismantled humans, lying on the road...charred beyond recognition...accident caused by a girl texting on the interstate...I am an insurance and received the pics....it would stop the texting while driving if everyone looked at it

Text messaging is great! It makes it so much easier for the government and businesses to see what you're up to. Every text message sent is kept by phone companies. Even insurance companies are looking at them now to see what you were doing at the time of a car accident. Everyone should text message as much as possible!

texting allows people to not have to worry about normal subtleties to conversation. it is pretty useful in that sense, and it also forces you to be concise.

Both my daughters (11 & 8)got cellphones early this year.
The first week they texted about 200 to 350 msg each.
Grandma was pissed because she had to pay an extra $10.

This month, they texted about 0 to 4 msg combined.
