I think they are valid questions speaking of the OP. I would say good ice breakers even. I mean if those questions would scare a potential date off I would hate to think of how they would feel of having a good seance. The nice thing about bringing ghosts to a first date is that they just sit quietly until spoken to. I mean unless you were dating a psychic you would probably wouldn't even realize that they were there.

I don't assume that you're dummies because you're women or anything. Again, another bad assumpton on your part. You seem to keep making a lot of them I've noticed. No, it just that I find it really boring to talk to a woman about my work. It's not that I find the work boring but I know she will. I'd rather find something much more interesting to talk about.
