Topic: In need of attention

I'm noticing over and over the people on here that post topics that seem to be nothing more than a ploy for attention. Are there seriously that many people whose lives are that devoid of interaction that they need to do this? Seriously, flipping through old topics I find a lot of "pray for me" "wish me luck" "poor mee" topics...what kind of discussion is that??? grumbling it's old...

From what I've seen on here so far, there are alot of true friends on this site. From where I sit there is nothing wrong with asking for prayers or luck.

one never knows what is going on in someones life, but alot of people believe that prayer heals all, and I am one of those, we dont do it for attention, it is to get all of the prayers so that maybe whatever is needing healing or mended will be answered. I know I dont ask or seek the prayers, but I do pray for all that ask for prayers.

Please someone chat with me! Oh I need a date too! I'm not kidding this time!! Yes I know this is the 30th time but this time it's for real! Those other 29 girls I met mean nothing. Why doesn't anyone believe me!!!?? Ok I should cancel my account. Does anyone ever get a date on here?

From what I've seen on here so far, there are alot of true friends on this site. From where I sit there is nothing wrong with asking for prayers or luck. How about "wish me lock...although i'm not going to do anything about it" maybe i'm cold...but even if my own mother said that to me...i wouldn't be the least bit sympathetic to her plight. please...why should i waste my time if the person if unwilling to take a proactive role in solving their own damn problems???

True, not for prayer requests because I fully believe that it works..I meant for the cry babies that keep making the same mistakes or can't figure out how to move out of their parents basement.

If you don't like a post my best advice is to not go in it.

I have seen some of the Chuy threads over there and some here. im not religious to a point, but when people are sick on here, or have lost a loved one, i will pray for them, and keep them in my thoughts and offer help if i can.
