I think the board clock can be confusing ... I sometimes forget to add the 3 hrs to get us in the same time zone as the posts!

Take what person says for what it is. Not all things are complex, they are actually simple. You might take offense to what I am saying when in reality, I am just telling you a curse is a curse. Has nothing to do with being less or more of a person. Let's look as it this way.

This is how I have learned to think, this may help you online. Take situations to extremes to find the best answer/result.

For instance in this situation.

Cursed, does not make you less or more of a person, unless you believe that being blessed makes you less or more of a person.

Blessed is the same person who is either greedy or humbled while reaping benefit.

Cursed is the same while there is no benefit. This person has a circumstance that may or may not change. They may or may not be healed.


So there it is. Take what someone says for what it is and not jump to the complex conclusions that I may be insinuating something else. It's online, I have no reason to beat around the bush.


EDIT: Okay, not really extremes but a way to look at both sides rather than focus on one for the same answer. It's late, perhaps I shouldn't discuss my philosophies or anything else at such hours.


Either way, it seems like you are very capable of starting fights. There is nothing hidden in what I say for the future. I am not concerned with being looked at as an ass.

just sharing my 2 cents, the word 'curse' in itself carries a negative connotation so when describing those with this horrible disease as cursed it does not come across as anything positive.

I was thinking the same thing...but I wasn't dare going to say anything!! We have some tough people that takes everything we say to heart. Sometimes I think people just need to let others voice their opinions and let it be that!!
I myself do understand what Random Stranger meant by saying cursed...I felt that way once upon a time when I was very ill. But thank God things worked out for me. Trust me, there are all kinds of illnesses out there...just some of them can not be cured yet.
