I know I haven't posted anything here yet and for that I am sorry. To make it up to you, here is some information on a project I hope to turn into a Comic book series, a Action Cartoon Show, or a Video game franchise, "Aeon".


- Background Story -

It is roughly 100 years in the future, international war has grown so intense and brutal that the very existence of humanity is seriously threatened. Scientists from several nations, tired of this conflict and seeking peace between nations, created a special enforcer unit to end conflicts and insure peace in the world. This unit consisted of 51 specially trained and created super-human beings known as "Archs". This Archs, all inhuman in appearance were endowed with amazing powers to help in their dedication to peace. One of the Prototype Archs, the leader named Epoch, after 2 years of keeping peace and being frustrated in the nature of humanity, decided he the only way to insure peace was for the strong to rule over the weak. Humans were unworthy of this planet, and as the superior life-forms, the Archs must take their rightful place.

Before Epoch and his small devastating army of Archs conquered mankind, one of the scientists fled with the original Arch, the first Prototype left as a child instead of forcefully grown and allowed to grow on his own. The young prototype, a 2 year old Arch named Aeon was spirited away, somewhere, anywhere he could be hidden to live a life away from the Arch's tyranny mankind was destined for. In his attempt to flee Epoch's ambition, The Scientist could take no more and fell over dead on a mountain trail in the Himalayas. It was there that Aeon was discovered and taken to his new home.

16 years later Aeon has happily lived in the last undisturbed patch of human freedom and peace, the mythical and undiscovered Shangrilah, and amazingly warms sacred land hidden in the Himalayan mountains. The monks there had accepted Aeon as one of their own, despite his bizarre appearance. Here Aeon was raised with a respect for all life and a love of peace and tranquility.

Unfortunately Aeon's world was turned upside down when his home was discovered, his family attacked and brutally slaughtered by one of the less merciful Archs. Aeon discovered a side of himself that day, the Soldier that was bred into him long ago, the monster that was unleashed to avenge his home and family. The burning monastery and tracking of the Arch brought Aeon to the attention of the last remaining resistance forces from all the unified human nations. After much consideration these humans reluctantly decided to enlist Aeon's help, and Arch to help protect them from the others.

Aeon had a new family, but what would he decide? Would he help free the world from his misguided brothers and sisters? Would he be able to help the Archs is that what they have done is wrong and if not, will he ever be able to forgive himself for what he must do?

i have never written a novel, but have a deep desire to. My problem has always been, i know the subject, and i would want it historically and geographically, etc., correct and i become overwhelmed with the research that would have to go into it. is this a common issue or am i thinking it out too much?

Perhaps, it is entirely possible you are unwittingly giving yourself excused not to write. I'd start with some basic plot and work to make it accurate after you have a bit. That might help, or it may not.

interesting point...i like that! thank you! i tend to be the whole picture kinda of person and i want to envision everything start to finish. so i should start smaller and...i like!

My blood runs thin
the feeling in my hands is gone
I can no longer feel the ground or know where my body plans to take me
My right hand reached for a pen
and my left reached for a rusted blade
My mind embeded and twisted to thoughts that continue to confuse me
Feeling is lost in my lips
and I can no longer feel what I am to say
Am I not held responsable for what may seap from my lips?
Am I feeling tears?
or is this warmth of my own blood?
What am I to think?
Who am I to know what will come of embrassing and letting as my mind wants?
Am I right to question myself?
A fallen one of hope and a product of pain
this is all that my mind will let me hear

1. I get writers all the time and the way i get ideas is by listening to some hardcore or death metal, i never listen to those kinds of music unless im writing, for some reason the lyrics to some songs from in extremo and in flames and stuff fuel my imagination.

2. I create characters before hand but i keep them all in my head, i think about the general message or idea of the story and base the characters personalities around that.

3. If i am writing with pen and paper i just care about getting the story down and i check the rest when i transfer it onto my computer. If i start on a computer i usually worry about structure and grammar

4. I dont usually take breaks when i write, i go for an hour or two a day or every other day depending on how life is. I work best at night when my son is asleep so i can get everything down at once.

5. Unfortunetly i dont know many websites.
