I want to state that I also emphatically agree 1999% that these men on that show deserve whatever punishment they get....entrapment or not they are sickos. Just wondered about the entrapment issue is all. GLAD they do that show!

If you aren't familiar with the TV show "To Catch a Predator" it is a show were people chat with men posed as underage kids. When the men talk about sex and ask for a meeting Dateline's Chris Hanson meets the possible pedophile with a camera. My question is, Is this Journalism or entertainment? And should the media play the part of being an extension of the law? And while they do so is this Entrapment? I love the show and I give an A+ . Let them catch the pedophiles and let the pedophiles rot in jails . Use any tricks to catch criminals and I am with you . Children and society must be protected from dirt . amen brother!

I kinda feel like Im on that show when I get emails from 18 and 19 years olds on JSH Well, as long as they say they are of legal age, you're safe! I know But I also know for a fact that there have been underage girls on here saying they are over 18 So how does that work, if they lie about their age and let's face it...some 13 year olds look to be in their 20's....can you be arrested? Not interested in anyone under 30 just to put THAT out there!!!

Regardless of what anyone calls it..I feel the sick people should have zero rights. Entrapment, Journalism, whatever it may be...Whatever it takes to expose these people to the media should be done... THen hang them by their nutz and castrate them Then when do others rights begin and end? once we start stripping away rights and police standards we become more like the criminals we are trying to protect society from. Dirt by any name is dirt so why do you bother with technicalities . Let them rot in jails .

I don't like pedophiles either, I wish the worst to them. But really is an angry mob mentality the best way to deal with this? and making it entertainment seems just as perverted as the people they are catching. Chris Hanson tries to act like a hero but the conviction rate isn't as high as if they would use proper police procedure. Infact in TX they let 23 out of 24 go. The 24 was a prosecutor from a neighboring county and shot himeself.

Im all for catching perverts but the truth is, it is entrapment. There are no underage victims and those men were invited to that location I find it troubling some of the things the police have been doing in recent years

We can not afford to have a policeman for every citizen and therefore any help we can get to fight crimes is welcome . The media help is really appreciated as it is seen by many . The same goes to America Most Wanted ....etc.

Yes that is entrapment as well and so are the way they conduct a lot of drug investigations. In other countries the police use these same techniques to falsely imprison political and religious people. I dont believe there should be secret police Its evil
