more parents need to monitor what thier kids are doing on these computers... 14 and 15 year olds should not be in the position to be offering sex!!!! so easy to say but most of us work and can't watch our teens 24-7. You can put controls on your computer but they can go to a friend's house where there may not be controls. Kids always find a way.

We need to talk, dude. thats what im sayin... and while i agree with ms giggle.... thruth is that in the world of single parent homes working 2 jobs.. the supervision we would like just isnt there. i dont agree with it. but thats how it is.. and MOST homework requires research online.. even from my FIRST grader.

I dont believe in secret police All countries have secret police and they do protect the nations from inside and outside criminals . They are only humans and humans are not perfect : there are good ones and bad ones everywhere . And thats what scares the hell outta me

I dont know what your talking about Please carefully read my postings in this thread I never said any such thing you did in replying to my post. you said "but wheres the victim" after i said "evil? and what are the assheads that are out there commiting the crimes in the first place" and stated that there are specific laws governing entrapment laws.

The Bible and other Holy scriptures teach us that all men and women can be redeemed. Are you saying then that we should greet pedophiles with music and flowers ?. I don't think you read what people are saying dude. You earlier simplified one statement I said horribly wrong. Just because someone disagrees on tactics and someone else thinks they can be saved or redeemed doesn't mean the condone the act. This is a discussion remember . WE are debating ideas here . There is a diffence between discussion and oversimplifing one's statement.

Im talking about "To Catch A Predatot" Theres no underage victim on there and those idiots are invited to that location They only seem to be guilty of poor judgement they are guilty of intentionaly soliciting a minor for sex! or sexual acts!! that is why they are there in the first place. these men did not know that there was no 13 yr old.. they only know that they were going there to MEET and engage in sexual acts with a minor!

Ok, my actual opinion on this subject, i got some good responses now I can speak my peace. I like the fact that they get some of them off the street. or atleast known by the public to warn them of a potential danger. I don't believe it to be entrapment because they don't intiate the sexual talk, but they walk a very thin line with it. I would rather someone murder than molest a child, I am opposed to capital punishment, but this is one crime where I question my feelings on it. That kid will be F'd up for life, I wish only the worst for pedophiles, and want them caught. But legally because once we start doing things illegally when does it stop? do we regress back to the times of Mc carthy? At what point are we protecting people from bad people and at what point is it a which hunt or inquistion of sorts? The is there to protect us all and give us due process, and after we go through that(which I believe the show does) then let them burn. That being said, this is not journalism, it is reality entertainment. They are making news, not reporting it.

There are no victims on that show. but the people who agree to the meet don't know that there is no 13 year old..if it was a real kid on the other end of that deal, the kid would be a victim. This person's intent was to have sex with a child. But I see what you mean, there is no actual victim, just the potential victims that this predator will now not get to.
