well, the serial killers may go through the motions of asking for forgiveness but i can assure you, that unless they have a truly repentant heart ... their Names will not be written in The Lamb's Book Of Life the Lord will say to them " Depart From me, oh worker of iniquity ~ I never knew you " < i can't remember exactly the quote , but it is similar to that > a serial killer once caught and sentenced to life in prison or giving the death penalty can easily place theirselves into the mind frame to be truely rependant but if not for the fact that they have been caught they may have keep on killing within that society ...so it would be the soceity that tured the serial killer rependant and not necessarily a love of God and wouldn't that serial killer still be capable of entering Heaven while those that never killed would enter Hell |

But all he needs to do is un-create them (kill them spiritually), he doesn't need to torture them for all eternity. Moreover, if he can intervene why doesn't he kill this people earlier? Why allow them to carry on? Giving them a chance to repent? That makes no sense because. And what if they do repent? Then what? Maybe those men hate themselves more than you hate them? Eternity is a hell of a long time. Unimaginably longer than a brief human lifetime. So you're saying that torturing people who were unfortunate enought to have been born with defective brains should be punished for all eternity. Vanessa, we used to around talking about this very thing. How can it be that we aren't tempted to run out and rape, pillage, and murder? I don't have to fight the temptation to do those things and I never have. The thought of purposefully harming another person has NEVER been an attractive thought for me in my entire life. Am I responsible for that???? Do I deserve a reward because I just happened to be born as a nice person???? I don't think I'm anymore responsible for being nice than I am for having blue eyes. Sure, SOME people do make choices to do bad things for intellectual reasons such as greed and personal gain. But what would a serial killer who murders victims and cuts their bodys be getting out of that??? Clearly it's just plain sick. They have sick minds. How can they be responsible for having been born with sick minds. You'll never convince me that normal decent people simply CHOOSE to become demented serial killers. There's something wrong with the whole judgmental picture, and what's wrong with it is the obvious fact that all men are NOT created equal. Some are created with nice personalities and healhty brains, and others are created with nasty personalities and sick minds. God could not justify tossing anyone he creates into an eternal state of torment. Because ultimately he is RESPONSIBLE for everyone he has created. Including the sickest serial killers you can imagine. |

  Dear Sweet Abracadabra I really do love you  & your tenacity hugs to you ... I know we have clashed before, at times...  but i do respect & admire you for your perseverence & perhaps we need to ask Wouldee  & Spider & Eljay these questions... for I am far from a Bible scholar I sure don't have all the answers here we are again...trying to make sense  and logic with our mortal minds the things that are spiritual and heavenly and one of the biggest beliefs with Christianity is that we walk in faith ...not blind , but with unseen, yet very real <nonetheless> belief... like when The doubting Thomas came to Jesus after He had risen from the Dead... and wanted to see and feel the wound in His side .. and Jesus Said " blessed are those who believe and yet have not seen" I know that there is another force that is very powerful in the world... but not as powerful as the Creator's I do know though that the archangel Lucifer thought he was better than God.. & tried to rise up against God  God cast him down, and made the Earth to be the workshop of the devil ...  and it is not God who causes these cataclysmic events... it is not God who made monsters out of these men... It is Satan who goes about 24/7 like a roaring lion... knowing that these are the end times...especially  trying to consume as many as he can and bring them down along with him  |

You don't know any such thing. All you know is that some book claims these things. I have no problem with the concept of a God Vanessa. But I have serous problems with believing that the book you believe in has anything to do with God. In fact, I have insurmountable problems with that book. I see absolutely no reason to believe that book has anything to do with God. On the contrary I have a myriad of reasons why I feel that book can't possibly be from an all-wise, all-intelligent, all-powerful, all-loving, all-perfect God. If only for the fact that the stories in the book don't display these qualities at all. On the contrary they grossly contradict these qualities with ever story. I'm not denying God Vanessa. I'm denying a book. You say that your faith isn't blind. But you sure seem to have blind faith in a book. |

How many times do I need to say that I'm not an atheist? I haven't seen any miracles that actually point to the bible as needing to be true. Also, I feel the spirit in my life. Yet I totally denounce the bible, and I totally denounce the idea that Jesus Christ is the sacrificial lamb of God. Yet, my refusal to believe in these things hasn't turned the spirit against me. On the contrary, I feel that the spirit is quite pleased with me. I'm at complete peace with God. How could that be? How could I feel that God is pleased with me if God is truly angry with me? That makes no sense. Moreover, if you try to claim that some evil demon is making me feel this way that's doesn't wash either. I'm too sincere for that. An evil demon could not possibly hide someone from God who truly wants to seek God. For god to even allow such a thing to happen would be unjustifiable. How could I be held responsible for having been innocently tricked by evil demons? It wouldn't have been my choice to be tricked! We can't have God rejecting people who truly want to choose him but who are being tricked by a supposedly lesser demon. That can't be. In the very same way, it makes no sense for the Bible to appear as nonsense to non-believers and only makes sense to believers (as the book itself proclaims) Again, that would be an utterly deceitful God. Why purposefully blind innocent people from seeing his truth? That's utter nonsense when the bible is viewed as being the word of God. However, once you realize that the bible was actually written by deceiful men who are trying to brainwash people into believing it using every underhanded method they can dream up, it makes perfect sense! God would need to be a conniving deceitful deity to pull the underhanded trickery that is presented in the Bible. It had to have been written by deceitful men. It can't be true. It's too demonic. It's too hateful toward non-believers. It shuns non-believers using every trick in the book. Why? Because the authors don't want their words to be questioned by non-believers that's why! No genuinley loving God would pull such dirty tricks. The biblilcal picture is a disgrace to God. God can't possibly be like that picture demands. The book is ungodly. It can't be the word of God. Pure and simple. |

And if so , who do you pray to? Do you ask for the truth ? Do you ask God To reveal Himself or Herself or Themselves to you  just as much as you feel strongly about your beliefs , i feel strongly about mine... but see, i am also willing to build bridges... i go to see my Daughter who lives in the Bay Area and she has a wide assortment of friends... i truly love them...gays... lesbians.... people of all different beliefs... and i know that wars have been fought over disagreements so why incorporate that in our lives i don't debate with anyone out here in the world ... i do not want to do it online... you most likely will not be seeing me in the religion threads... i just don't want to be there and i don't care to debate every little thing .... that is just me.... it drives me crazy ... although everyone is different ... and i do believe that God is the judge and not me nor any other human , so that leaves me with one job & responsibility .. and that is to love  and i look for things to unite us and not divide us.... Okay , Dear....i'm gonna give this a rest ... I have been praying for truth and wisdom since before I reached my teens. Unfortunately my prayers have never been answered I'm just as stupid as ever. Do you ask God To reveal Himself I've asked. I've begged. I've cried. Sometimes I do feel that God speaks to me. Ironically when I feel that way I feel that God is female. Although I also sometimes feel that God speaks to me though my higher self. And truly when I feel that I genuinely feel that I am indeed the spirit myself. I laugh at myself. I tell myself I should have known better. I tell myself that I'm stupid. I tell myself to get off my butt and do something about things. Is this just me talking to myself? Is this God talking to myself? Is God my higher self? Do you ask God To reveal Himself or Herself or Themselves to you Yes, I've even asked for any sign of a supernatural being. I've even "offered" to accept the experience of a demon as being a sign of the supernatural. Thus far, nothing. Nothing by my higher self. (my own conscience) And fleeting imaginings of being talked to by a female God. Even those experiences aren't lucid enough to be genuine visions. I accept them as just yet another form of my own self-conscience. I'm not overly worried about it thought. I don't need for anything to be true. I've always been open to whatever truly exists. Que Sara Sara. If atheism is true, so be it. It seems like a terribly wasted universe if that's the case. But just the same, whatever will be will be. I'm not a worry wart. The only thing I know is that I don't have an evil bone in my body. That's the only thing I know. And perhaps that's what gives me peace. I'm not desperately seeking God. But if an intervening deity actually exists I think it would be pretty cool to experience it.  However, like I say, I would still have immense problems believing that the bible has anything to do with it. If God did reveal himself to me and said, "The Bible is my book!" My response would have to be, "Please tell me you're joking!" |

DAMN.......i can't believe all these words when the very scripture only say GOD IS THE WHOLE TRUTH AT ALL TIMES.......
that very simplest principles of the book quoted are not contained in any of the words spoken here....... it is NOT JUST ONE BEING......no other gods before the TRUTH.....to praise god is to praise the GOOD in each mans neighbor and friend and OWN family by knowing words to make the truth easier to speak..........not "praising" something sitting in a chair in the sky that demand respect and obedience called GOD...... the human mind CANNOT unlock any truth thinking GOD is only ONE SUPREME BEING......all beings are supreme if they speak all the truth at all times, and hide not behind hidden motives, the only evil agenda that exist..... god be only the truth of what each mans destiny or path happen for, and what it's purpose be........mankind had to have MURDER to know what NON-MURDER was......is that such a far-fetched concept....no different than night needed day to have a knowledge of either one! no evil can be "solved" by one that has committed no evil so understands nothing about it......give me a break you preachers of damnation of others.....every last one of you is born into the only potential HELL and all the while saying others are going to the pit of hell, lol...... any man WHEN he sees the TRUTH of his own HEART that cause him GUILT can be converted from evil acts to good and loving acts, by feeling hell........WHAT THE HELL, LOL...... if one think THEY are not capable of evil, then they have never YET been tempted, and that is in EVERY mans path either in the past or to come.......nothing can resist his roaring lion NEIGHBOR except one that has been first devoured by the lion many times, lol..... satan is not some evil being with horns, but only a freind or a neighbor and most even family that try to persude one to follow them, and not teach EACH to follow their own heart, and explain to them the proper workings of the mind..... repent only mean "to change ones mind"......eagerness to take a beaten for a crime one commit SHOWS repentence...... how can an evil man change his mind unless SOMEBODY tell him how the things he does hurt OTHERS, and show how they cause himself harm the MOST............... where the hell has common sense gone....... there are many "gods" it was said.......every human born have the potential to speak the truth, and also to speak lies, so every human born have the "potential" to be a lying evil devil or a truthful honest god to his neighbor....... the only evil sick mind that walk upon this planet is one that the untrue interpretations and lies of religion have created, and these have been passed down from parent to child from the very beginning, and caused beings to not understand THEMSELVES, and then even GREAT evil and atrosities are created.......BUT THE TIME OF INNOCENCE IS OVER........ innocence is not purity, but rather ignorance in disguise if there is ONE way the universe was created, and ONE way the body was formed, and ONE way all organs funtion, then there has to be ONE truth that complete all unknowns, and THIS CANNOT be found until one knows it exists to even look for it.......the only thing that matters, and SOLVES all, and can create all........ |
