I have known people who carry concealed guns and when they have to go in someplace where they are no allowed to carry them, they leave them in their glove compartment. That is NOT a secure place to leave a gun. Nor are Riffle racks and cases just so you can display them.
I disagree, a glove box, locked in a locked car is a secured firearm, c'mon, now if you leave it in the open thats an invitation to get robbed, guess you want a trigger lock, with the ammo in the trunk and the gun in the glove box, so when you need it, you can ask the criminal to give you just a second while you unlock the glove box, take off the trigger lock, get your ammo out of the trunk and load up firstlaugh
The reason why a glove box is not secure, is the fact that anyone breaking into your car when you are in the doctor's office or wherever, will in fact break into your glove box and voila a free gun. Glove boxes as we all know do not have the most difficult locks to pick.laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh

Yeah, so the guy at m window can stab me repeatedly because I am in my car as I am helpless cuz my gun is in my locked glovebox

If you are in your car, I would assume you have your gun on you or, in your purse, but as you should know as a registered gun owner, you are not allowed to take your gun into any government building and many private stores, the airport and the list goes on. So where do you put your gun when you have to go into the post office?????

assuming you know where you are heading, I'd either leave the gun at home or put on a trigger lock and leave in car, when entering places I am forbidden to bring in gun.

theres no cure for stupid. thats the bottom line here. Anyone who allows a child to gain access to a weapon is, or should be, held responsible for the consequences. Guns are not the problem.... stupid people are.
