wow I did not know this thread was here.I met someone here a year and a half ago.We've met in person twice,talk everyday.And getting ready to make another trip in April

I joined this site to meet new people, and possibly find something greater, but I had no hope of meeting somebody I could really connect with. I met Luke not long after I joined, I think he was the first to contact me, even. We started talking when I first joined, and flirted even, and come to find out we have a lot in common and he's everything I've always been looking for but never thought I would be able to find. We didn't consider ourselves a couple until about a month ago, and he brought up wanting to get married a few times but I never thought he was completely serious until a few days ago, when he finally opened up and told me he loves me. I have a lot of hope for us, he's perfect to me, and I'm so glad I decided to join this site, because I met the person I've been gone through hell to find. Thank you Mingle2...you made me believe in love again. :)

I'm just overwhelmed with joy, a friend of mine whom I invited to join this site a year ago finally found her way to the aisle. Her man flew from Virginia to Cebu, Philippines and on March 27, Friday they will be exchanging their vows Oh no, I can't wait!!!!

Another success story!

Congratulations are in order for those success stories between my last post and this one. It's always good to see some new (to me, anyway) success stories.

PECCY, we met over a year ago...2 hearts bleeding from past loves gone wrong. Both of us weak, yet stronger for the experience. It was surely fate that brought us together here on MINGLE(formerly called Just say hi!) The first time I saw you, I felt a strong connection to you....like I already knew....knew you were mine. We had a long hard road to travel to make it happen. I created alot of the bumps along the way...as did you....but, our love proved stronger than all the petty things that lay in our way....we pushed them aside and continued on our journey. I see us having to push alot less aside now and this makes me SMILE so big. I love you and cannot imagine life without you. So, thank you for sticking it out with me. We are both very strong....and very much in love. I LOVE YOU PECCY...I knew I loved you when I first made those signs in my profile pic "Peccy, ask me a question"....you later did... And my answer was a definate YES.... One day...you are my love. THANK YOU MINGLE...for helping us to find each other. And as some of you know....we are together now. Learning more about each other in day to day life...I find myself falling deeper in love...we are going on 2 months now...I think we will make it GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU!

had problems on other dating sites.had a couple women interested but didnt even want to meet.found mingle2 at 9pm one nite.put my profile in and then hit search.first one to pop up was 2 years younger and 1/2 hour away and i thought she was cute(get those pictures on your profile).emailed saying hi and age and location.didnt realize right next to her name it said she was online and she emailed me right back.2 min later we were iming and i said lets just talk on the phone.within 1/2 hour i knew i had to at least meet her.2 days later(wish it was the next day) we met for coffee.after 10 minutes it felt like we had known each other 30 years.after an hour and our coffee was done i asked her if she wanted to go for a ride.SHE SAID YES!!!took her to a real romantic spot and we walked around a little before i asked her if she kissed on the first date.she said yes and we were off and running.shes 46 and im 48 and we feel and act like teenagers.been seeing each other for a week and 1/2 and hate to spend any time apart.we have so many things in common and there were so many things that could have happened and we never would have even met.just seems to be a reason for us being together.i definatly got lucky on the first try on this site.hope others have the same luck i did.

Well I will admit too that other sites have been discouraging and I posted my profile on here and said what the heck!!! I like to know a lot about who I am talking to before we meet and a phone conversation with my true love seemed to make things all come together. He is my prince charming...everything that shows up in a chick flick that makes a girl's heart melt, happened to me. He was charming on our first date and attentive. He seemed to be hanging on my every word and I believe even a month later he still does. I catch him looking at me even in quiet moments and then he just smiles. Hey ladies...he brought me flowers and they were my favorite color...purple and tulips too. They were also from his garden. He and I share the gardening thing as one of our interests in common. Needless to say I was dressed in the same color as the flowers. He had also printed out some great questions from the internet, to ask on a first date. That was soooo different, intriguing and wonderful...it really made for a fun first date... Opens the door to some great laughs and fun conversation. We continue to learn about each other daily on the phone. We see each other about 2-3 times a week...sometimes because of his work schedule we have gone as many as 5 days apart. That is tough for both of us. We look forward to seeing each other and we know it will be time well spent...we savor every minute.

I am going through a difficult divorce after 20 years and my new man has brought me much happiness in the middle of such a mess. My x had threatened to take my and our boy's dogs to the pound if I did not find a home for them, and only gave me 2 weeks to do it. He has never been an animal lover at all. This new and wonderful man in my life has two dogs and is willing to care for the beagle I have not been able to place. He has opened his heart and home to me and my pet. I am still amazed and feel I have found the one for me on this site. I wish everyone else the same luck, and mostly love, that I have found on Mingle. I believe that everything happens for a reason and I found my reason to finally love again. Thank you!

I am glad to say I have met the man of my dreams. He is kind, caring, hard working, funny, and has the most lovable personality in the world. I met him through mingle2 and would like to thank them for everything. We have been dating since March and well to be honest I want to grow old with him for the rest of our lives. I can not tell you how much mingle2 has helped me find my true king. I have met someone. I am not sure how successful it will be, but for now I am REALLY happy. If I can learn to do this relationship thing again and work through all of my little quirks, then I think it can work out. He is very patient and fun and I see him every weekend.
All I can say is, it comes when we least expect it and aren't looking for it.
