I met someone in my area that i became really close to from this site.. I was just looking for friends to talk to, nothing serious at all. He was the first and only person i met from any site.. four months later, I am sooo happy and in love with this person. I could tell from the very beging seeing his photo that he was someone i could potentially be with for ever, I almost find it humerous how it all fell into place. I never thought i would meet somone from a cheesy website but he is basically the man version of me, peronality and all and i love it!! So at this point i would say it was a sucsess we'll be moving in togeather by spring time and im sooo excited!.

I posted my ad on Mingle2 just a few days ago , amazing how quickly it worked. Within minutes I was receiving email from everywhere and from all types of women. It's amazing how a simple profile like mine could attract so many women. All I said was , Needed Immediately "WIFE" first and foremost she must be willing to not work, I want a woman that does not mind sleeping late and does not mind a full time house keeper and chef. She also should be willing to spend large sums of money daily shopping and by all means love to vacation to exotic islands around the world at least 12 to 15 weeks a year.Only serious reply...It worked great....

Over six months and it is great!!!

After meeting Kevin (YouandImake1) over nine months ago on this site, and dating for 8 months, we are finally going to be living together in a couple of weeks. We are so happy together and looking forward to a long life of holding each others' hand....thank you guys

I had previously been on another dating site and had gotten to the point that I was so sick of rude comments and nasty introductions from men that I was giving up....I hid my profile and vowed never to join another dating site.
A few weeks later, I became very bored and lonely....had been divorced two years, the five kids were grown and gone, so I began searching for chat lines, just to have people to talk to. Immediately I saw "Just Say Hi" (eventually becoming Mingle 2) in my search and thought, "I can do that!"..."I'll just say 'hi' and if it doesn't work, I can always leave.
The moment I finished my profile, I didn't even go to the welcome forum, but posted on someone's thread and immediately was greeted warmly, sweetly....it was so refreshing! ( Thank you, Cypoet, for making me feel so welcome) I knew then that I had found the place I was supposed to be.
I jumped right in and made so many friends, so quickly, that it was like heaven. I remained on the site, began to write poetry again, tried to be "mother hen" to the young ones, gained more friends, gained a few enemies, laughed til I almost wet myself, cried real tears when someone was hurting, and became a part of this wonderful Mingle family.
I had met a few people, became pen pals with some, but felt that I was never going to meet the one that I was here for. I had told so many that you simply had to wait, make friends, have fun, and when you least expected it...."the one" would walk right up to you and "Say Hi"...but I felt that maybe I was simply here to make friends and that "He" just wasn't here.
One day I posted a thread in regards to my Quaker Parrot, Pip, who had suddenly passed away, and YouandImake1 responded. I had seen him in the forums and knew he was a newbie, but had never really talked to him. I sent him an email to thank him for the well wishes and we instantly bonded...he had my phone number within a couple of days and we were talking as much as we possibly could. Within a month, we were meeting at a halfway point, due to distance, and having lunch....we didn't want the date to end and spent the rest of the day in the park...laughing, holding hands and getting to know one another...our first date lasted 8 hours and could not have been more perfect....and we were still sad that we had to part, but smiled all the way home ...the next Friday...he surprised me by showing up at my house!
Through several problems with the economy and things simply coming up...our time together was limited, became a little disheartening, but we stuck it out...we knew it was worth it and that somehow...we were supposed to be.
At this time, I am waiting on a phone call on a very promising position for a job in his area...keep your fingers and toes crossed please....lol, and as soon as I get this call, I will be loading my things up and moving to be with him. We have spent several weekends together, had so much fun, and love one another so much.
I just want everyone that joins this site to know that Mingle2 DOES WORK! With the rules in the forums and the great staff that manages the less desirable that drop in on occasion, you cannot go wrong with this site. Don't allow distance to become a problem...if it's worth it...there is always a way......
Jump in...meet the family, feel the love...gain friends, cry with them, send them hugs, get hugged back and enjoy....sit back, relax and wait...they will be here before you know it...when it is meant to be
Thank you to everyone that has crossed my path, touched my heart and enabled me to find the love of my life. If it had not been for all of you here, Kevin and I would not be where we are today, and that could have been the saddest thing in the world. I love you all, will keep in touch and I wish you all the chance that we have been given because of "JSH and Mingle2"

we didnt really meet on this site but on one just like it. and then we moved over here (cause it was much much cooler than the other)

but we do use mingle as one of our forms of communication and a place to play

...and it seems once you get here, it's really impossible to leave this wonderful family!

Mikey117 found me on here.I'm so very glad that he did.He is the best man that I have ever known.We have spoken to each other every day since. Sometimes I have to just pinch myself to realize that he is in my life.We are so very much in love & so very happy.
