I can honestly say I have never stayed all night at a cemetary. I am too chicken to do that. but again we have to do what we have to do. This will sound really awful to all of you I bet but I still have not been able to bring myself to my brother and his wifes grave. He is buried in the same cemetary as my husband. It has been a year since their deaths and I still haven,t been. I just can,t do it .I feel kind of guilty about it . But idon,t now if I should force myself or not.

I don't think it's terrible of you at all. I just go with my gut instinct, and if I'm not ready to do something then I don't. You may just need more time..and the time may never come. If it doesn't- I know your brother will understand, he knows you think about him and that's the most important thing..

Betty, you were talking about not being able to go to your brother and sil's graves. I find it extremely difficult to go to my Mothers. Mom's are hard. Plus she died on Valentines Day which was husband's birthday so the thought of going to both on that day is beyond me. I felt really guilty the first year (she died in 06) but not so much in 08. You can only do what you can.

If your anything like me- I think I beat myself up 100 times more over things that bother me when most people don't even notice or think about it but I just think that they do.. Sometimes I'm my own worse enemy..lol But your not alone Betty. |

Man..it's hard enough when you lose your spouse..and a parent--but on Valentines day...I'm so sorry. That has to be rough..my heart goes out to you...I know there's no words that help..but at least you know we're here for you anytime..

Yes Connie I did read that, but my memory is short at times and when it comes to typing..it kind of goes blank..sorry for the not typing it right...but...I did remember them both, and Valentine's Day...that's 3 out of 4--I'm getting better at remembering more...(pats myself on the back for at least some of it right)...and I'm teasing here trying to get you to laugh at least a little...

You can only do what you can. Hi Connie how are you today? I think this is so weird your Mom died on valentines Day and so did my Dad! My Mom always sid God took the best valentine for himself. I was only 14 when he diedand 18 when she died . I don,t celebrate Valentines day atll. Although that doesn,t seem to be an issue now does it. Maybe next year ...hey I never said I wasn,t dillusinal

Tornado hit a boy scout camp, killed 4 & over 40 injured, minor to seriously. Camp was totally destroyed.
