I guess my biggest lesson learned through all that was no matter how hard times were for me there was ALWAYS someone else who had it harder. I can't imagine watching someone fade away or holding them when they go. Reading what some of you have gone through makes my problems seem tiny. So, here I sit. Eating a turkey sandwich and some salad. Anyone up for a nice game of mahjong? Ron Im sorry..I didnt introduce myself...Hi Ron..Im Cathy...I wondered about that same thing...Im thinking and let me know if im wrong guys....its very hard when you find out that you are going to lose someone..the shock hits you and you have to keep a smile for them...After the long illness...you see them suffering and you are suffering inside...you become exhausted with all your relentless efforts and you finally accept it...pain has different levels and we all move them at different times...The loss of a loved one suddenly...is like a brick wall fell on you and you feel lifeless and lost in a matter of minutes..that is if you really are capable of understanding what has happened..your affairs are not in order, because you never thought it could happen to you...Then by some small chance you have enough energy to start doing things on your own...Even the simplest tasks seem so difficult.....ok...Im rambling again |
