According to Robert Monroe, who wrote three books about his journeys out of the body, there are many places that souls go after death.

He said that on one level, (he called it level 26) all the heavens for all the different religions existed. When you die, you go to level 26 if you believed in a certain religion. When you got there, you can only see the heaven you believed in and none of the others.

Where you end up after you die largely depends upon what you believe. If you believe in nothing, you might find yourself in the middle of nothing, and not be able to see anything.

He tells of seeing a soul sitting and crying and proclaiming "I knew it! I knew there was nothing after death!" He said she could not see anyone or anything around her.

So it is better to believe in something than nothing. Christians will go there and they will find their heaven because that is what they believe.

I suppose people who believe in Hell will find it. But all of that is just temporary and will pass away and Hell is not eternal. You can walk out of it any time you decide you have had enough of that nonsense.

Above level 26 is level 27. There, are many things there, but one specific thing is a huge library.

Level 27 is a resting place for souls on their way to the higher self, and you can live there as long as you want until you decide to leave to the higher self and other density worlds.

JB

I'm confused.....If you only see what you want to believe, how is it that this guy was able to see everything?

I'm sure he does. Maybe not at first, but if you want to get to the library and check out a book...I'm SURE there is a check out fee.

He was not dead. Although he was brought up Christian, I don't think he embraced the teaching as absolute truth. He was more of a scientist.

He thought he was going insane and went to numerous doctors to have himself checked out and they all told him he was lucid and perfectly sane.

So he approached the experiences very scientifically and recorded everything he experienced and documented everything he saw and cross checked things in the physical world to determine if what he saw was accurate or not if he was traveling in this physical world.

His travels in other dimensional worlds of course could not be checked.

Robert Monroe is no longer living.

He wrote three books which can be purchase on line.

His institute provides technology they use to teach this method. Sound proof sleeping chambers, earphones, etc.

You can also purchase CD's and do this at home. I have a set of them.

Yes they cost money. I don't see how they could give them away for free.

The library on level 27 does not have regular books like what you think of as books. They are non physical things. He calls them "rotes" and they are packets of information that can be experienced almost like you would experience a holodeck program.

If he based his theory on the other dimensions that could not be checked, how could his theory be scientifically proven?

It is not a theory. He simply wrote about his experiences and learned (invented) a method to teach others how to reach higher states of consciousness and experience these other world for themselves.

His institute is for learning about these things or learning how to do these things. It is not a religion, and it is not a theory.

JB

As for it being "scientifically proven" that is what the institute is all about. The facility has also been used by so-called "X-CIA" operatives to communicate with beings of other worlds.

Note: Some say that there is really no such thing as X-CIA operatives. Once you are in, there is no getting out, or so I've been told. I don't know how true that is actually.

Fundamentally, one must be born again.

That statement is meaningless.

What you and other "born again" Christians propose is that not only are very few Christians saved from eternal hell and damnation, everyone else, every other religion, every other non-believer will spend eternity in hell if they do not adhere to your requirements of what it is to be a "true Christian."

That is the biggest lie ever told.

It amounts to EXTORTION.

It is the biggest threat imaginable to all people, Christian and non-Christian alike.

It is a threat that promises eternal agony after one life if you do not bend to this requirement and believe this unbelievable illogical lie and profess this to be the truth.

It feels like extortion. If feels like brainwashing. It feels like "Do this, be this, think this or else you will go to hell for eternity.

It is not freedom of will. It is not loving. It is not Godly.

You deny that anyone can know God, feel God, but you and you alone. This is pure delusion on your part and pure arrogance.

It must make you feel very superior and special. Good for you. I don't believe you.

JB

nope.

those are your own fallacies, jeannie.

I have been out of my body, and I have done some remote viewing.

I have only experienced level 10 consciously. That is a level where your physical body is asleep and yet you are awake and totally aware of what is going on in the room around you.

This level of awareness is used by many martial arts experts who's body needs to sleep, but also who need to know if someone is sneaking up on them to try to kill them.

When in this level, you have to know how to wake your physical body up from sleep. If you do not know how to do this you will think your are paralyzed.

This is what is called sleep paralysis. In this state of consciousness, you can also be aware of beings who reside on this level.

These beings are sometimes not very friendly or they can be annoying. They are easily frightened away however most of the time, and some are simply creations of your own mind.

I have not been practicing the Monroe techniques for a long time.

one more question.
As we know when we are sleeping our vital signs are at their lowest. Some MDs say that while sleeping we are virtually on the edge of death.
So practicing this methods would not be dangerous for a person who is not well prepared for it?
or even for a person who knows what he/she is doing for a little mistake the can die?
am i wrong?

I believe the Bible should not be subject to interpretation based on the reader’s mood, circumstances and personal agendas. Instead, interpretation should be based on authorial intent. When we read the Bible we should interpret it the way the author intended to be interpreted. (This is not always easy!!) That is not to say that our mood, circumstances and personal agendas will not and should not influence the impact that it has on us as individuals. The same verse read by 10 different people MAY be interpreted 10 different ways however we should ask ourselves “What was the author trying to say here?” There should only be one answer. That one answer might resonate deeper within and speak more personally to 1 or 2 of those 10 based on their mood, life circumstances, etc. and mean virtually nothing to the other 8 or 9 and there is nothing wrong with that but the author’s intent of the message remains the same.

now there is truth.
the Bible means exactly what it means...it is the Word of God,
and it says what he wanted to have us know.
it also says that one must believe that Jesus was born of a virgin, condemned to die on the cross, and rose from the dead.
you don't have to be specifically christian to believe that, but that belief will ultimately cause change, as most other belief systems will not accept one's support of this view of Christ.
the 'free will' part of that is what allows us to choose to believe and accept God's word or not. He does not give us free will to pick and choose what we will accept from his word.
you wouldn't join a club if you didn't believe in the mission of that club.
God says you either take him at his word-all of his word- or you don't have to.

There is no danger of dieing.

I would suggest anyone trying the Monroe method, read his books first as he documents many things that he experienced and you could learn what you might expect from that.

There is no danger of dieing, but death is the greatest fear and the one thing that prevents most people from doing or trying it.

There is a connection that extends from your higher self all through all of your light bodies to your physical body that keeps you attached to your physical body and keeps you alive.

In order to die, this connection must be broken. It is only broken at your appointed time of death and it will not be broken on accident. There are guardians who prevent this, and they are projected from the body of your higher self.

I have been told that taking drugs in combination with these techniques can be dangerous, but the danger is mostly from the drugs.

That is not free will.

It is more like extortion.

It states this: Believe this, or spend eternity in Hell.

You only have two choices here. Believe or not believe.
And if you chose not to believe, you will spend eternity in Hell.

That is not freedom of choice. That is not free will.
That is extortion.

If you have any choices, you have free will. I can't believe that you really want to have this pointless argument again. Just stick to the accepted definitions, okay? Don't try to make up your own or use one made up by some guru. Choice = free will. Period. That's all there is to it. Drop it like it's hot, okay?

I disagree. It IS free will. God gives you the choice. He has left evidence all over the world of his existence including the world itself. He has given us scientists that have set out to disprove his existence time and again but have only managed prove his existence more frequently than disprove. If that isn't proof enough he has given you a book called the Bible for you to believe or disbelieve. Your choice. God is a gentleman. If you choose not to believe in him, he doesn't force himself. He will simply step aside and wait patiently for you to change your mind.
