True Christianity is about relationship and worship of our God, our Lord, our Saviour.
Not about religion at all.

If that were only true.

True Christianity is a religion. To deny that is really ridiculous.

Just because you are ashamed of the bloody history of the Church, and the hypocrisy of "Churchianity" the abuse of power by organize religion, you try to divorce yourself from all of that negative stuff and start a new religion.

But it is STILL A RELIGION.

It still requires you to believe in the Bible, and the story of the crucified savior with no real evidence or proof that any of that ever happened.

You cannot deny your church and take Christ and the Bible out of it and ignore the question we are asking you to answer. That is the flakiest cop out I have ever seen.

JB

you just do not understand.

you were just told the truth from a Christian.

you are not a Christian and never were. No Holy Spirit in you, ever. and you know it.

So, then who are you to tell anyone what Christianity is?

you were just told, and you are being told the sqame thing now.

You and Abra do the same thing in lockstep....telling the world that you are authorities on Christianity when in fact you are just false teachers making excuses for your bad manners when you insult the intelligence of those that know what escapes you is as you see it.

Are you really that ignorant that you think any Christian accepts your lies?

Get over yourself.

You are a callous misrepresentation of things foreign to you.

does that mean that you are obstinate and rebellious too?

Or does it mean that you will continue to remain a childish hater?

you are exactly the example that I am looking for.

Thank you for proving my point.

I know what the definition of a religion is.

You and others who try to deny it and redefine it to escape the irrational nonsense and negative history of it to make yourselves feel better about it are only fooling yourselves.

You are making excuses and just trying to start a new religion. But you cannot escape the dogma unless you abandon the Bible.

Try the Urantia book. It makes more sense, and it still worships Jesus.

You are confused.

You just made that comment in your own thread laughingly mocking Yashafox in that the Bible is confusing.

You don't understand it at all.

You have no clue what Christianity is.

But here you assume that it is something new.

Nothingnew here, Jeannie.

You just do not get it.

And still you opine that this is a new version.

You are a false teacher and a liar too, even if you are making jokes.

In which case, you are a hater.

with an agenda, not so hidden anymore.

At the core of your mean and spiteful comments is the darkness and coldness in your hearrt.

You are beyond feeling anything remotely well itentioned.

You sink lower into your hatreds to deny that you are on a mission with a hidden agenda and are furious with being exposed/.

Why are you so upset?

you deserve the exposure.

Truth is as truth does.

try it sometime.

It is liberating

My agenda has never been hidden. I have clearly stated that I am not a Christian, and that I do not accept the Christian doctrine as truth. I have always been honest in what I think about this.

If you are loosing your faith, you will not regain it by attacking people who disagree with it. You would be better off talking to people who share your faith than engaging in rants against those who do not share it.

I really am sorry that you feel you have to defend your beliefs and criticize and attempt to silence those who do not believe and who will boldly say so.

Boldly speaking out against what I feel is an outrageous lie is my privilege and I will not be intimidated by you, so give it a rest.

Christianity is a way of life.

The Bible says that pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their aaffliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
James 1 : 27.

By the way, the word religion only appears 5 times in the New Testament, and never in the Old Testament. It could be that the Jews never thought to call it a religion.

That had never occure to you, did it?

Anyways, three of the times it talks about the Jew's religion in the time of Christ and the other two are this one I quoted and in the previous verse where it said....

and I quote...James 1 : 26.

"If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain."

Can you stop parading as a queen of knowledge and just accept the fact that you haven't the foggiest idea of Chrisianity?

You let us worry about churchianity.

We have been fighting it from the beginning with the truth.

Me in my generation, along with my brothers and sisters,

and those in every previous generation that preserve the truth for posterity and for Jesus' name sake to the praise and glory of God, not men.

What ever else you say, let it be wise and thoughtful and not so sarcastic.Please, Jeannie. It's getting a little to boring with this repetitive reminder of the incessant bashing and twisting od=f Christianity.

learn. grow. and be at peace.

the malaria casualties, and then go to the supply room and decide how i will ration out what is most important for the day and my people...

i have been awake since 5 am...i have treated already at least 40 patients burning up with fever, i have made rounds over a 30km radius on an old bicycle that has been fitted with home made tires and they fall off at every turn

yup

you choose to be.

I am proud of what you do with your life.

Being intolerant of Christians is but flaw that ought not to exist in one that would recognize compassion ans sympathy.

I see a hypocrit.

You help others and do not recognize the other component of man, the Spirit.

And you have serious issues with Christianity to make your agnda one to obstinately refuse to admit when bad manners and poor taste have reaRED UP.

It is inconsistent with your work.

Unless, you think that your work entitles you to be above decency.

What else would explain your need to declare yourself as Ms. Right Dr.?

really?

I guess you are a student of moral equivalence too?

I don't buy your excuses, Jeannie.

Pontificating your hate speech is the incessant ill will you harbor.

You have yet to acknowledge any insensitivity by your incessant need to further taunt.

I rthought you said earlier this evening that you were so done?

And in days gone by that I am dead to you?

Apparently, your vendetta is all too personal for you not to divorce yourself from the selfrighteous arrogance that perpetrates a conitnual contempt for anything Christian.

When will you acknowledge that tolerance and good manners are not hatred and over bearing?

I am working on it.

When I aam finished, then everyone will enjoy not being attacked and insulted.

The other faiths may even feel safe to post.

Right now, they stay away.

Many Christians with sound minds andd good manners stay away.

Maany who are not Christians, have left. Maybe they too will return.

Tghese threads have turned into a sewer of ill will and contempt and hatred.

It blows my mind that the community in here is so damned blind.

Iam fixing the blindness of intolerance and bigotry and hijacking that has gripped this religious community by the throat

Believe me.

The Christians won't backlash or bash either.

I will beat that down harder.

That is my passion and I am behind no man in the faith.

peace out:heart:

Jeannie...been extremely busy..and just saw your post here........

Jeannie...I see you misunderstood what I said yesterday about Christianity and churchianity being two different things.

Jeannie....basically..yes..the world still considers christianity a religion.

But when a christian becomes born again, he now LOOKS at christianity as a RELATIONSHIP, and not a religion anymore;simply because now, he actually DOES have a RELATIONSUIP with God .
He has a relationship with God thru Christ Jesus.

And no..we are not ashamed of anything..nor do we leave anything out...lol.

Jeannie..after we become born again.... and even though christianity is still viewed by others as a religion ....in our hearts, it is no longer a religion to us..but a relationship with Jesus.

Yes...The world still looks upon christianity as a religion...and yes..a lot of christians are just caught up in religion and not relationship with Jesus at all( because they are not born again)...but other than that, we still follow and study the wole bible(Word of God)...go to church, pray ,fellowship, worship, etc.

So you see Jeannie...we aren't some new religion...lol....no...nothing like that at all.....nothing changes except that we NOW , after becoming born again, we now have a RELATIONSHIP with God....and we go and find a LIVE church to worship in now... where the power of God is moving ...rather than a dead church, where there is nothing but dead religion. .

Do we still read and study the WHOLE bible, have sunday school, teachers, preachers, gather together for worship....all the stuff that the christian religion has always done.

But after we are truly born again, we have a relationship during our time of worship and learning of God in church.
We just don't look at it as religion anymore..cause it ISN"T religion to us anymore..It's RELATIONSIP with ABBA Father.

We worship him with joy and great adoration and love...we cry out and weep with gladnes in our heaerts...see what I am saying??
Relationship!!

By the way..go find a spirit filled LIVE church and attend.
You will then see what I mean.

And no ,Jeannie..we born again christians are not some new religion..nothing like that.

God is the same ...yesterday today and forever.
His Word stands true forever...we don't change a thing.

We still follow the Word of God and believe every Word of the Bible.
We just call our christian walk a RELATIONSIP with God now....after becoming born again... not a religion.

You wrote and I quote....

~~~~~~~~~
Ok Jeannie...listen for a second here..cause this really concerns me a lot....about some of your replys to some of the posts here...including mine..and that is..... ..you put words in our mouths that we NEVER actually said.....???!!!laugh
WHY do you do this ,Jeannie?
First of all....WHAT question did I ignore that you are asking me to answer ?
I don't recall you asking me to answer a question, Jeannie.
???
Also Jeannie....
NOWHERE did I say that I was ASHAMED of the BLOODY history of the church.
NOWHERE did I EVER say I was STARTING a new religion.
NOWHERE did I say I didn't believe the bible and the crucified Christ.
NOWHERE did I say I deny my church and take God out of it.
Jeannie..WHEN you make these statments like that..out of nowhere..... THAT is WHY WOULDEE gets upset with you.laugh
READ the posts THOROUGHLY before replying Jeannie...spoken in love..cause I have seen this "misunderstanding" on your part, happening a lot in your replys...and as a result, there is a complete misrepresentation o your part of what others have actually said.
Jeannie...Just read the post more carefully, before replying.....and just ASK if you are not sure what is being said.flowerforyou
Much appreciated if you could try do that in the future....Thanks Sweetie.flowerforyou
Hope you know this is Spoken in Love, Jeannie....flowerforyou:heart:flowerforyou
MorningSong,
Thank you so much for your replies.
Yes I can now see the difference between Churchianity and real Christianity.
I don't see real Christianity very often.
No you did not actually say those things that I pointed out. It simply appeared to be what you were doing. (Divorcing the Church and taking Christ and the Bible out of it.)
That was my impression because I did not understand.
I have met a few people that lived true Christianity and who were a good (shining) examples for their faith. These people truly impressed me, and if I had known more of them, I would probably have joined their church.
They are in the minority.
You are one of them.
