Topic: How many Smokers feel 2nd class?

Ok, smoking is outlawed in many places in my state, but it was voted on. Is that not the case in all places? Majority rules and if you don't want this to happen in your state then I suggest you hit the poles on voting day.

ill be dead because of someone elses habit. is that ok with you? you make my point for me. But you said none of those things can affect you but they can. That is what I am saying is all. Everyone has a choise. Like me I quit smoking but smokers still have rights too. Just like You do. And they still have the right to smoke. The location is just changed. Just like how you can be drunk in a bar or in your home, but not in public.

you have the right to do whatever you want... AS LONG AS WHATEVER YOU WANT TO DO DOESENT HURT OTHERS. This argument that you smokers have the right to pollute my lungs is based on your personal delusions, not the constitution. This is why these anti smoking laws are able to be implimented. Its a public health hazard, period. well, be that as it may, until it's outlawed, we'll be sitting next to ya in your one restaurant town You can't if we get up and leave or refuse to eat at that restaurant. and actually, i never smoke in restaurants, i'm as considerate as i can be. i was just razzing rambill ...i mean no disrespect to you and your daughter. raise your paw if you believe that smoking in a public place is not a public health hazard. raises 2 paws me having to breathe your smoke isnt a hazard to me? theres a big case of denial at best, or a self centered mindset. 'I can do whatever i want even though it may harm others around me because im addicted to a disgusting habit that i dont have enough willpower to quit so im in denial about how dangerous it is. sorry bro mis read what ya posted

When the public are at risk ,common sense prevails .

Well u feel like 2nd class..and I don't want that second hand..lol besides...there are still smokers out there? I thought that went like out of style in the 90's...LOL I have never smoked a cig in my life..but I heard the patch really works. i agree i never smoked either

im wondering then.... why do smokers have to pay for people who eat doughnuts mcdonalds& chips all day for them to go to the hospitol for cholesteral clots and to have operations cause they are obese and to get their stomach shrank then?

Make us stand 20 feet from the building, not allowed to light up inside, people act like we have some sort of disease, If I wasn't coughing right now, I would find a place and walk in smoking. Unfortuatly, I'm feeling a bit winded, so my mission of equality will have to be put on hold, or until I find my inhaler. It's not like we think anyone has a disease, it's just that we don't want to breathe in the smell of smoke or cannot tolerate the smell. If you are making a joke about being a bit winded, I don't find it one bit amusing. My daughter gets winded alot. When she does its because mucus has built up in her lungs and has to use an inhaler. It's not fun to sit there and watch her gasp for air. I find nothing amusing about this thread. As far as you wanting to walk in somewhere and smoke, that's your choice. I find it to be disrespectful that some have no respect for others health. Just because smokers want to mess up their lungs, does not give them the right to mess up others lungs. Have a little respect for others well being even if you don't have any for your own. Especially those that have lung problems. JMO Yes I am angry about it. Anyone can bash me for it. My daughter has to fight to stay alive and people that don't care for their health needs to visit a children's hospital or some hospital where people have lung problems and see for yourself how it is hard for those people to live with unhealthy lungs.

It stinks to high heaven !. true but that is their choice and not all cologne is smelling too pretty anymore i say if non smokers pay for the scooters for the smokers cause someone cant breathe anymore then smokers should pay for the scooters for the obese people cause they cant hold their own weight to get to the cookie isle until then dont gripe about paying for others that choose a different lifestyle to each their own...

I quit smoking 3.5 years ago. I am not saying this to get a rise out of anyone but it should be illegal. I don't want to breath that junk anymore. I don't want to walk past cigarette butts on the ground. I don't want to dodge the hot cherry as I try to make it past a smoker. I quit cold turkey and anyone else can. The patch is a joke. It's made by the cigarette companies that's why they sponsor the quit smoking campaigns. I don't want to die of cancer and I don't want you to either. Quit. Do it now, crush those cigarettes and make it past the first three days when the physical addiction is over and it becomes mental. Quit.
