ive came home from a restraunt and had to bathe and change my clothes as i reaked of cigarette smoke. Who needs it? yup. Then don't go to that resraunt again, simple as that. just as you do, we all have choices why should i have to make such a choice? i live in a town with one restraunt. hmmmm. to deny that its a filthy, smelly, unhealthy habit not only for the smokers but for everybody around then is to deny the truth. To expect the rest of us to put up with your filthy habit is in my opinion the height of self centerness. I dont care if you want to kill yourself but dont subject others to it please. A little consideration would go a long way here. That is all fine but it should be up to a proprietor of an establishment if he wants to cater to smokers or not and then people need to stay clear if it says smokers welcome if they don't like it. We are slowly loosing all of our rights in this country and people do not seem to care. They all want to govern others with their petty little issues. Alcohol should be outlawed too it kills, pollution of all kinds kills, chemicals in our houses kill, plastic, rubber, pharmecuticals, etc.... the list goes on and on. People really need to get over their own petty issues to realize they cannot govern others with their fears. I agree but only to an extent. I believe it depends on what kind of establishment and whether it is privately owned. ill agree, but some people go out of there way to express there opinion and thats wrong.

Rambill we know you don't like smokers, thats ok it's your choice and thats what i'm getting at. never said you had to, just said it's up to you whether you go there or not. No one is making you. And i'm triping your town only has one restraunt. I thought my towm was small

you have the right to do whatever you want... AS LONG AS WHATEVER YOU WANT TO DO DOESENT HURT OTHERS. This argument that you smokers have the right to pollute my lungs is based on your personal delusions, not the constitution. This is why these anti smoking laws are able to be implimented. Its a public health hazard, period.

Well think of it this way people drink when they know it can kill them, they drive fast when they know it can kill them, they sky dive when they know it can kill them, they mountain climb when they know it can kill them, they ride bulls that can kill them, they get on a plane knowing it can kill them, they do drugs that they know can kill them, they join the military when they know it can kill them, they have plastic surgery when they know it can kill them, heck stepping out of your house can kill you. Are we all suppose to live in constant fear of all this and more that can kill us? Or better yet lets take it all away from everyone so we can think we have saved the world.

'I can do whatever i want even though it may harm others around me because im addicted to a disgusting habit that i dont have enough willpower to quit so im in denial about how dangerous it is.
