I'm smoking rite now

*LIGHTS UP A SMOKE* this is to all those that think there too good to be with a smoker *TAKES A HUGE DRAG* I wouldnt want you around me any ways you snobs *TAKES ANOTHER DRAG* looks like I just dont care for you as much as you dont care for me! *PUTS HIS CIG OUT* if you dont like me simply because I smoke, that makes ua bigger ass hole then me for smoking!

some have even banned recess from schools "because a kid could get hurt while playing outside"

This is an issue of death and life . Smoking kills and stinks too much . People who are intelligent enough not to smoke and who are clean enough not to smell like garbage have the right to a decent environment . Unfortunately ,smokers are approaching cancer by the second and it will be wise to quit and shut up . !.

The thread is about smoking, not about other things that can kill you. The child that is allergic to peanuts is something that he can't help. But smoking you can. Hello reality here.

For years I drank drinks. Anything from mountain dew, coke, dr. pepper, etc. Two years ago I noticed blood in my urine. So I went to my regular doctor. He said I had kidney stones. Test after test was made. No sign of any stones. He sent me to a kidney doctor. He made test after test and could not find anything. So then he questioned my eating and drinking habits. He told me to stop drinking drinks and eating certain foods. I did and guess what, no more blood. So if you know something is harming you, then you don't do it. I had no idea that drinks could do that to me. I was drinking 2 liters a day. I was using the bathroom anywhere from 8-12 times an hour. I still use the bathroom more than I should because I damaged my kidneys. I am fairly young. So you guys and gals can make fun all you want to about others being non smokers. But you will see one day and think back to this that these people you are making fun of was right.

nicely said. I think a lot of smokers are an example of the height of denial. They dont want to admit that thier habit, that they either dont want to quit or cant quit, is killing them, and is harmful for those around them, when all the evidence indicates otherwise. Ive heard smokers say that there is no proof that it causes cancer..... uh. huh. It dont smell.... uh huh. cmon. I can walk into a house or get in a car and smell the residuals.... as im sure most non smokers can, since we still have a sense of smell.

smokers are treated like crap and yeat the citys and states etc, still make money off of us, if its so bad then lets see how long they like not having that extra money coming!

i wish they would raise the cig tax to about 20.00/ a pack.
but your right, smokers are good for local businesses.... e.g., doctors, hospitals, mortitians, pharmacies, oxygen suppliers, ect.

I have not seen anyone treated bad over smoking. That is your opinion as well as mine. When I post what I post, it's not out of meaness. It's just trying to get you to see what harm smoking does to you. I just hate seeing people damaging their lungs when they can prevent it. Seeing my daughter fight everyday to live because of a disease that is killing her lungs that is unpreventable. Makes me mad and sad knowing you are hurting yourself and can prevent it whereas she can't. So, you are just smoking to help others make money? You want to kill yourself so that others can make money off you?

I'm stricter with my smoking than most non smokers usually demand of me...I don't smoke in my car or truck, in my home, around my family, around children, and ask everyone else if they mind if I smoke before I light up.
