Topic: what does friends only mean?

what does FRIENDS only mean to you? I think mostly it means, taking applications but not yet ready to do any hiring

I noticed that some who only want friends are in a relationship. Others want to start as friends with the hope of seeing what may grow and flourish. I want a relationship with someone for long term, but I also love good friends!

That sounds like a good definition to me.....Like looking and "if" I dont' find something better maybe we can get to be "good" friends...

It means they either A.) Have someone, and aren't looking to ruin what they have.... or B.) They are sooooooo bitter and jaded that they push everyone away because they can't deal with their baggage, and they need the ego boost of adoration but don't want to give any in return.

I pretty much just come here for banter and friends. When someone says "friends only", I take it at face value.
