I find it interesting that people are looking for the Temple to be built. But could care less who Is planning on declaring himself the True Messiah thier to the world. Does not make sence to me.Shalom.... Miles

I’m sure it does make sense to followers of that religion.

Although, I think most people who call themselves “Christians” aren’t even concerned with things like that. All they care about is that Jesus saved their souls. The rest is moot as far as they’re concerned.

Clearly to ask people outside of that faith, would be no different than asking them who will be the next mortal man to have sex with Aphroditus.

I personally feel that it’s a bit of an oxymoron to believe that the creator of this universe is having some sort of war with a shrewd fallen angel who thinks he can win when it’s already been proclaimed that the outcome has always been predetermined, and the demonic angel never had a prayer in hell of winning in the first place.

Such a ‘war’ would be nothing more than a ‘game’ that a supposedly all-powerful, all-benevolent God is playing out with a pathetically frail and powerless fallen angel.

The seriousness of it all would be called into question if it’s just a game-playing God. It’s not even a real war.

The very idea that an angle could think it could overthrow God is ludicrous in the first place. That implies that God’s power is based entirely on his authority and he has no real power beyond his position of authority.

How else could you ‘overthrow’ a God?

The whole thing is based on medieval mindset of Kings ruling over Kingdoms. Like as if God could actually lose his power of authority and become a mere subject and servant to whomever overthrew him.

The whole idea of the “Power and Glory” of God is absurd. Obviously, if some supreme entity created this universe its power and glory is beyond anything within that creation. It wouldn’t be important to have people bowing down in recognition of that power (like it would be for an earthly King), because its power and authority doesn’t arise from the loyalty of its subjects (like is does for earthy Kings).

The whole story is based on the same mindset that was the foundation for things like Greek Mythology and all the other ancient mythological Gods. Gods that could be ‘overthrown’ in their status, by other Gods, etc. It was all based on being in a position of authority.

Sorry, Miles, but you know I couldn’t resist sharing my point of view.

By the way, do the Jews believe in Revelations? That's in the New Testament isn't it?

Jews believe in Revelation in the fact thier is really nothing new thier. You can find it in the old Testament.So everyone is looking for a new king to come. Now in your analysis of satan. He at 1st believed he could over throw Yahweh's Power and convinced 1/3 of the Angels he could also. This rebelling of his and refusal to believe as you say it is all ready planned out. Is the Very Reason man was created in the 1st place. So that they would learn through trial and aire to be sons of the most high seeing and expericing that the way to peace is through him.Satan immediately accosted Yahshua when he was weak and in the desert before he started his ministry.Right thier he was slyly trying to trick Yahshua because he knew Yahshua was a mere man and he expected to beable to tempt him. So of course him knowing the book as you say wants to declare himself Elohim and millions will believe him. To where when Yahshua does come he will claim this is satans trick and to destroy him. Once again trying to get rid of the son of Yahweh. Thier is alot about satan that can tell you what he plans.So if you have enough pride and an army behind you. You may very well believe you can win.
