My question is has anyone heard Jesus voice literally speaking to them?

Jesus said, "My sheep know my voice, and I know them, and they follow me" (John 10:27).

yes...i have heard his voice..and at the same time i heard the room lit up brighter than day light at 3 P.M.

yes ive heard it and have also saw his face in my sleep.it was awesome.

actually no but i have actually seen a vision of him........... seriously i have seen him 2 times

well actually i heard a voice one time but wasent actually sure if it was him or the archangel michael, as the word was now you are healed

Can't say it was an actual voice; but I definately knew I was spoken too. There was a calm...an inspiration, a thought brought into mine that wasn't there before. Out of nowhere came this wisdom that didn't belong to me.

When that verse was spoken it meant to me that we will know when it is Him speaking. No voice to be heard but in our hearts and minds.

My experience was very similar to yours Kat. I heard and knew without a doubt but no actual voice.

Yeah....my grandma and my late husbands. I hear their thoughts from whatever source it is. I get jolted back to what is important by a sudden thought that just happens. And when that happens....I have a specific name with it.

Yep... I've also heard his voice in various ways.

I had a friend who said she hadn't heard him. She prayed about it... Later was caught in a house firer. She was trapped, and fell down on her knees in prayer was preparing to die. Jesus told her to getup run through the kitchen door. A neighbor was there waiting on her at the window, and pulled her out. Jesus told him to go too the window. She now says she has definitely heard his voice.

I'm a average sinner saved by his love & grace.
Still... got to admit I love Christ Jesus...very much..

Man Jesus was just there to watch her fry.Lucky she asked for help or she would be dead today. If I was Jesus and had that power I would act like any human would and save her without being asked. I guess he is slightly less then human.

If people are actually hearing Jesus’ voice, then I can rest assured that I’ve also been put on hold for many decades.

I asked Jesus into my heart many decades ago, and I left the door wide open, it’s still open today. All he needs to do is keep HIS promise and reveal himself to me.

I can’t force a deity to keep HIS WORD.

Only HE can do that.

In the meantime, I’m stilling waiting. It’s entirely up to him to speak. So far I’ve heard absolutely nothing from him.

Many will say, “Well that’s because you obviously don’t believe!”. Well, why should I have so many decades of silence? If he was real why didn’t he speak up and keep his WORD when I responded to his call in the early going???

If Jesus existence depends upon my belief, then clearly he’s nothing more than a figment of imagination.

If the deity is real he should be able to exist independent of what I believe.

For those who are in direct contact with him, ask him why he never responded to my offer to be his humble servant?

Let me know what he says. Tell him I can’t hear his voice, he needs to speak up a bit. Tell him not to be so shy. I don’t bite. Tell him there’s nothing to be afraid of.

Well, interesting post... Whether we believe, or not in Jesus. He still paid the full price for all of our sins....out of love for us. This may help some, and offend others.

Jesus said:

A simple prayer for salvation

Dear Lord Jesus I am a sinner. I believe that you died for my sins. Right now I repent by turning away from sin and open the door of my heart and life to You. I receive You as my personal Lord and Savior. Through the help of the Holy Spirit I will serve you all the days of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Thank You, Jesus! In Jesus' Name, Amen.
