ok...hear me out. this is a topic that is really close to home. I have three kids and I would not trade them for the world. I heard a report not too long ago that said some states were actually going to legalize (or at least considering)abortions. Now, there are many touchy subjects with this and I try to understand them all. With so many people divided on this, can we have closure if we kill kids? does this somehow take the "Boo boo" mistake away? Come on....is there any more lame excuses? even if there is a rape or incest there are other alternatives. But however, I'm not a woman and do not know how a woman would feel about this. So, anyone...I'm kinda hesitant on this thread but I feel that there is alot to be said here about this topic. Take it easy though.

It is the right of the woman to do as she wishes with her body. It is not for the governement to tell me what to do with my body period.

Pro-choice here. It's not anyones damn business what someone does.

I was date raped when I was 15, almost 16, and I had my son..... I do not know who his father is. I was at a New Years Eve party, and that was the very first time that I had ever drank alcohol, or smoked some weed. I passed out, and 2 months later I found out I was pregnant.

My son will be 13 this year, and not a day goes by that I dont think about this topic, even with all the bul***tting I do, it bothers me... How do you explain this to a 13 year old young man, who wants to know his father, and has asked before, but I change the subject some kind of way???

I chose to keep my baby, abortion was not an option for me...

My point is that I made the decision that was right for ME at that time. What I chose to do may not have been the right thing to do for another young lady going through the same thing.

Fetus' are not children,
women are not incubators,
abortion is not murder....

dont agree with abortion?
if you're a woman dont have one
if you're a man, get a vasectomy....

I guess if she wishes to be a slut and sleep around with as many guys as she wants thats totally her business, but just because she has no responsibility or respect for life doesn't mean she has the right to end a life before it begins.

I agree that rape would be an exceptional circumstance.. but if I fathered a child and wasn't able to support it, I would fight tooth and nail to at least let it live, then put it up for adoption.

What is it your business if some girl wants to sleep around? Did you sleep with her? Mind your own.

There is also the scenario of medical problems. If you knew a child was not going to be healthy to live a reasonable life. You knew the child would suffer in pain. Or maybe bear the burden of others being mean all thier life. Having to rely on someone else thier entire life for care and essentials. The expense of medical care.

I think it should be up to the woman to make the best choice in the childs best interests. Whether thats toughing it out, adoption or abortion.

And might I add, that if everyone is so damned concerned about abortion, then why don't you adopt all these kids that are currently in foster care and need loving homes? There are too many children suffering in this country, with no food, home, or anything.

If she's sleepin around without care or responsibility and having abortions as birth control.. I kinda got this thing againt murder. Mabie it has to do with this damn conscience thing I have.

...and might I add, a woman's body is most defnately her own and she can do whatever she wants with it. Get tatoos, piercings, drink, smoke, hack your damn arm off for all I care, no one should be able to tell you otherwise. But I DON'T think just because a life is growing inside her body, she has a right to kill it.
