I wonder why those people in Africa keep thinking about war and poverty?
What do you think it would take to git rid of the war and poverty?

I wonder why those people in Africa keep thinking about war and poverty?

Because greedy men, who are starving of power and control, keep doing their deeds without giving a damn those who are not as privilege as they are.
These men want more power and money, and it's for their convinience to keep the others hungry, so they don't have the strength to stand up for their rights.
It does not have to do anything with God. Rabbit boy.

but you said above that if you think about it you can change the universe. Surly that is true for everyone not just warlords.

my good friend rabbit, u r a very well educated person and an intelligent individual. please do not change the meaning of my words.

Then explain your words in the context of all the people that wake up in Africa with nothing and the real threat of war at their door. Each one of them is a real human being that can use the "secret" so are none of them make positive thoughts?

First, my good friend rabbit they don't have the education that you and me have. Therefore, they just know what they have experienced. They don't have any other choice. The greedy men who govern those countries keep them like that for their own convenience.
Tell me my friend if you know nothing about mechanics how do u expect to fix your car by yourself?

your original post said that only positive thinking was needed to change your universe. No one in these terrible situations ever thinks about and wishes for a better life for themselves?

rabbit
you have not answer my question
how can you fix your car if you don't know anything about mechanincs?

Wallace D. Wattles has an answer for that question.

You must see truth in spite of appearances.

The truth is that the universe is abundant, but they who see poverty and live in poverty believe in poverty and they think about it because they see it, they believe in it and they perpetuate it. They do not believe that they can have abundance. They only believe in what they see.

Those who rise from poverty, believe they can, and have imagined they can. They are inspired and they hold the vision of something more, something better. The clearer the vision, the more steadfast their purpose, the better their intention and attention, the better chances they have of changing their own experience. They never loose hope. They are always grateful of every good thing they receive, even if it is a rusty cup of water or a scrap of rotting meat. They are grateful for it as they intend to better things and never loose their faith and purpose.

Those who win, believe they can. Those who loose, give up hope, and believe they cannot win.

That is the secret of prayer, and that is the Law of Attraction.

JB

So to take his answer above and compare the US to Africa in general He would say that the US is full of people that are naturally gratefully for every rusty cup of water. While over there in Africa they just think about poverty.

I guess that is what is meant by American Pride.

How do the victims of incestual rape, random homicide, vehicular homicide, accidental drownings, shark attacks, or other freak accidents fit into this "manifesting your own reality with your thoughts?"

because their ancestors fought the Lord in their obstinance and lost their way, Rabbit.

There is no going back.

They are left looking to the Lord for their help now.

It is what it is.

They ignored him and everything that comes upon them is for having not moving forward with the Lord, as intended for them as a people and a culture.

Talk about living in the past and not being present in reality...there you have it.

oooooooo...that had to hurt.

See it for what it is.

You know what I am saying, Rabbit.

this is not a racial deficit, but a spiritual deficit happened upon a culture long ago given access to a greater love and inspiration.

Equalled and paralleled by the ancient civilizations of the Western Hemisphere that died long ago as well.

You miss the point every day, and I suspect your sharp tongue will retort your hatred towards me now.

as you wish.

I just wish you would climb out of this rabbit hole you are in and someday find more constructive things to do with your passions.

Clearly, they won't change any day soon since they run so deep and their care and feeding is habitually addictive to you.

peace out

Let me get this straight. The land that held and fed his chosen people is now the spiritually bankrupt land that is now suffering for it. Little children starving today for what happened at the time of the book.

While over in the US a land that at the time of the book had people worshiping completely pagan Gods. Somehow the land that did not feed his chosen people and did not follow his ten commandments now is blessed.

(If you see this as a personal attack I do not see how)

zoom...right over your head it went. my bad.

What makes you think that God is finished with teaching America how very bankrupt it is?

wake up, Rabbit. America is a toilet and you know it.

I love many people in this country of my nativity, but it is still a womb of a better things. Be it Africa or North America.

The whole world is bankrupt, and Africa has long been swept with the broom of plunder quite well. As has most of the Old World, as it has been called. Perhaps.

The African lament is an African dilemma. Why is it so impossible for them to not see that and pull themselves up?

Two thousand years of history says they cannot?

they choose not to. They have no heart for helping themselves by helping others. There is just the tendency to help themselves to each other. Just as they did over two thousand years ago.

That won't prosper in 'an age of grace'.

As CS says, "Society is the difference", Rabbit.

peace.

BTW... You haven't attacked me, nor my emotions. Truly, Rabbit.

If the claim of manifesting one's own reality held true, then everyone who is positive in mentality and belief would take the appropriate actions towards their positive goals.

What about the outside factors? One attracts bad things that stop the success as desired in so many cases?

Every time?

As if everyone who fails for any reason has attracted such?

I do not think I agree with that.

It is almost a plausible explanation, after the fact and empirically based...

Rabbit,

The biblical God just hates people in general. He’ll use any excuse to make them suffer. He doesn’t care. He’s a totally uncaring God. Look what he did to his own son! He thrives on blood and guts and anguish! He loves to torture his little human pets and instill them with terrible guilt complexes. He’s the ultimate sadist.

Just stating the facts. No mood necessary. laugh

As you well know, I have a very healthy loving relationship with God. I was just making a statement about a mythological concept of god. Not the real thing. bigsmile

Just to make my views clear

I think the people in Africa are just like the people in the US or anywhere else. The problems in Africa are a very complicated mix of Politics, Religion, Climate, History, Geography, and so on.

My view of the US at this time in History is that we live in heaven. We live at a time of such marvels that I think you would have to be truly bitter to see the bad through all the good. We may have bad individuals. Like a very bad president say, but even an idiot like him can't take the glow off of all the US. This is truly a wonderful time and place to live. We must be the luckiest people in the history of all mankind.

Opportunity abounds...

For those who can recognize it...

flowerforyou

Do we manifest it though, for ourselves, by ourselves, on our own?
