no matter how much we progress.. women are still ladies and some will make the first move and others will wait for the man to make it... I am not one to push myself on anyone so I let the man make the move.. of course part of that is ego... male or female it constitutes our actions/reactions...

Not in all cases. I have been in a relationship where the girl has made the first move. You just need to feel it out. It seems like women have been trained by societal norms to present themselves as shy, to wait for the men. I think this fact is slowly changing however
