Seeing katers beautiful face this morning

How can one walk through life without a hand to hold,
Without a sweet embrace when everything seems so cold.
No words to filter out all of the the hurt and distress,
No beautiful angel to hold and caress.
How can one begin to grieve something they've never known,
Or find the arms of shelter when they've always been alone.
How do you say I Love You with no one to say it back,
With no one to turn to when everything seems off track.
Looking at the reflection of a lost and tender soul,
Living in a world alone will surely take its toll.
Wanting one sweet chance to have and not let go,
An opportunity to see if love can grow.
One can only wait and hope to find the way,
Into their true loves arms and there forever stay.
Is it really possible I'll have to wait and see,
Because as of yet there's been none of that for me.

I can't say I like a shy guy ,but yeah I know what you mean.I like discreet women.If they're shy so be it.Just means I've gotta work harder to get them to open up.I kinda like that.

Shy women are awesome.Tey're usually the ones that will open up so much more once they're comfortable.They are also good at keeping things to themselves which honestly I find admirable.SOOOO, leave the shy ladies alone.With that attitude it's probably been a while since you've had a woman.

not really.look at when most babies are born.....July and August.The cold keeps people in...........and what do they do........you got it

A prince without a princess with nothing left to do,
A prince who waits alone and cold for HIS dream to come true.
Knowing that one day a kingdom will be his,
But he wants none of it without someone to share it with.
Why sit upon a throne a very powerful man,
Without a queen to sit beside and gently hold his hand?
The sun would surely shine and give way to the moon,
But his heart would be as desolate as the sands in a deserts' dune.
A kingly castle all his own but yet no hearts reprieve,
So all the prince can do for now is continue to believe.
He doesn't ask for much for beauty lies within,
He waits and gazes at the stars,"How long til it will begin?"
"Of all the maidens tried and true I only seek true love",
"Giving all I have of me that has to be enough".
So heartbroken he waits the future has yet to be seen,
He'd rather be a pauper with a princess than a king without a queen.

As you can all tell,I love to write.It gives me hope in an otherwise lonely world.

Thank you all so much for your heartfelt words.I feel I have truly found a "home away from home" here.You are all so wonderful and considerate.I really appreciate all of you understanding and being there for me.As you can all see it took quite a while for me to come out of my shell.........BUT HERE I AM.

I've held on for what seems like forever waiting on a princess to arrive,
And although broken hearted and lonely I continue to survive.
Sometimes I seem to wander aimlessly not knowing where to go,
Seeking fire in her eyes and a heart that always glows.
I've traveled down this trodden road for way too many years,
And gathered bumps and bruises and shed a lot of tears.
I'm convinced that there are some of us whose burden is to live life all alone,
Seeking but never finding a place that their heart can call a home.
Holding on is all I can do without faith I'd just give up,
And probably miss the one opportunity I have to find true love.
So on moonlit nights when I'm alone I say a special prayer,
Knowing in the midst of things somewhere my true love's there.
I know the road I've traveled has been weary and been long,
But I still believe in love that's pure and I'm still holding on.

All of you realize that if I continue to post my poems you're really going to get to know me.LOL
