Okay I love to write so I'll leave it up to you to decide whether I'm any good.


I travel in this world all alone,
Trying desperately to find a place of my own.
Where judgements never passed and love flows freely,
And respecting one's heart happens...ideally.
Where I'm unashamed of showing who I truly am,
Emotional,caring,and soft..but yet still a man.
The fire in my eyes is still dimly lit,
I'll try to hold on for "another" little bit.
My soul travels daily my heart follows a step behind,
Maybe I'm asking of too much to find.
A gentle heart that understands reciprocity,
and values commitment.....obviously.
Someone to walk beside me neither in front of nor behind,
Whose personality speaks volumes and shows they're one of a kind.
Outer beauty would be nice but "plain Jane" would do just fine,
I'm sure that it will happen it's just a matter of time.
Until that day my soul travels on,
Hoping and praying it doesn't take too long.
I've been patient thus far and will continue to be,
Because when the time's right I'll have someone who will love me for me.
