So what if 73% of your responses said “your cute” and 20% said “yuck”,
what would you hear? Most people would hear and lock onto the 20%,
especially if you’re a bit in the low mood. Looking to the outside world
for some Thing to lift you up is asking for disaster.

About a week ago I was reading a thread and after 4 or 5 pages I became
discussed at all the negative responses, started grumbeling. Then I ask
the question, Is that true?” I actually went back and counted all the
positive responses, neutral, and negative ones. The count – 16 negative,
9 neutral and 29 positive.

After looking at what I discovered ,I took a look at my attitude,
hummmmmmmm a bit grouchy from a hard day. Perfectly matching my
perception and perspective.

I like your short bangs pic but not one of the other ones, have no
opinion on the rest.

Interesting thread, I do believe there is some community building gong
on here.

Time frame wise I’m somewhere in the middle, I don’t qualify as an old
timer and past the newbe stage. Don’t even know who the OTmrs or the CS
group is. Guess I again fall in that nowhere zone where I just need to
know and define myself.
At first, I did feel that “being on the outside” effect. Sometimes I
still think I’m out there. Seems it does take a while to integrate and
then when that happens, the jsh organism has changed.

What I do know is that I enter this site like I enter life. I choose the
topics where I believe I have something to say or can have a positive
contribution. There will always be jerks, in fact I had a rub with
someone the other day. Actually made me feel like crap. I’m not into
drama.
There would be less drama if everyone could express themselves without
any emotion.. - …Then again wouldn’t that be just down right boring.

I’m not sure how many threads like this there are, and don’t care. What
I do believe is that they are way more productive at getting people to
communicate than “Do you want to have sex with the picture above you”

I don't smoke, have some friends that do. I do need to stand up wind
though and would have a hard time dating a smoker.

No one smokes inside. Here in CA you can't smoke in public buildings or
businesses and the like.

Miss the whole partnership thing, going places together, planning,
discovering together. Miss the smile in here eyes, the warmth of a body
next to me. The deep connection when we are appart...... being in love.

Ditto to izzie, - all that's still not a good reason to stay in an
relationship that went way bad.
