Dancing flames held in skyward hands, moving in unison. Swayed by the rhythm that has no polarity. Old Glory hoisted high with pride from coast-to-coast, tattering in the wind. Swayed by a deceitful storm sweeping the land. Pines and oaks standing side-by-side, flex in synchronous motion. Swaying in a gentle calming breeze. People of all walks, shoulder-to-shoulder, singing loud, maybe off-key but in harmony, sway with the guidance of our better angels.

I talked to a Massage Therapist and she told me that sometimes when people get there first massage they cry due to finally being touched. The need for touch can be powerful. Especially loving touch. I can imagine myself having an intense emotional response to being touched by a massage therapist. Though it wouldn't be as impactful as the loving touch of a mate, it would the closest I've ever gotten to having that experience.

So no spirit? I tend to think of the word spirit as referring to the place on a scale from high to low that reflects my current state of being. For me spirituality basically means a connection to things beyond the physical and purely logic based reality. I believe that all life has the ability to access that energetic level connection. I used to be very attracted to a Mingler called Darkowl. We talked about spirit alot. Do you remember him? I do remember Darkowl.

Someone considering going out with me should know... If the outing includes dancing, there's a strong likelihood she'll be going home with sore toes. Even if she feeds me... I don't put out on the first date. There's slim chance that she's ever met a man with my unique set of qualities. Bernie Sanders is someone I admire. He's devoted decades of his life to activism and public service. Advocating for equality and reasonable quality of life standards being deemed human rights. I believe we are body, soul and spirit. Do you?? I think of myself as a sentient, logical, emotional, physical being that embodies a fragment of essence source energy.

The Mona Lisa comes to mind. Some seem to find her coy closed-lip smile alluring. Personally I'm self-conscious about my smile because I have a broken front tooth. Closed-lip or toothy, I appreciate smiles that exude warmth and joy.

I often feel socially malnourished too, Jaan. For me, this deficiency predates the pandemic by many years. Gatefully I'm blessed with close family members that I routinely spend time with in person.
