happy Sunday to y'all.. current temps are: 70F (feels like 73F) with a high of 82F (humidex is 91F) so another hot one for us northerner's.. humidity is at 84% 
up early cuz I got lots ta do.. laundry's already in and breaky done..

Zee they posted they were in Banff, Albert, Canada. Now Mo we all know that is what he is wishing for  
Haha well ended up not going to the recliner. I got totally side tracked and decided all the fake plants in my living room needed cleaning.. My real plants are on the enclosed front porch.. Real plants don't like inside my house So took them all to the shower and washed them..
Then cleaned a bit more and decide screw this put on my bathing suit and went out and laid in my kiddie pool... 
What an awesome way to relax... got me a little sun.. Now time to head to the recliner.. 
Ohh and I made Banana Pudding before I went outside.. 
 
I had a feeling they were out west.. yeah.. Banff is beautiful.. heck most of Alberta is.. that is where my 'family' lives.. both of 'em
yup.. I concur Mo.. Slimbo's definitely lookin for a happy ending 
the plants got a shower, you got the pool..
I cooked up a storm.. made all kinds of things (including a childhood fave... Sloppy Joes) then decided a nap was in my immediate future.. after having a lousy nights sleep.. I needed that.. it's super hot outside.. so I'm headin to the shower myself.. in awhile crocodile

yup.. still mornin.. albeit a tad late.. 
didn't sleep well last night but.. par for the course.. have a few good ones.. then an awful one.. 
temps currently @ 73F but feels like 81F.. already.. at least almost half the day is gone.. supposed ta hit 84F (feels like 91F) tho so in for a hot one.. gawd I miss my pool right about now.. *sighs* not that it went anywhere.. it's just not installed'n I don't have a liner but it's all there in the shed..
anywho.. short day with lots ta do so.. best get to it.. not mowing today.. too hot and too late.. maybe if I get up earlier tomorrow.. in the meantime.. enjoy your Saturday and stay cool

Awwww Slim that sounds like a perfect day.. I got my kiddie pool all ready and well I guess I need to check with my grand daughter to see if I can get in the pool yet Due to today is just 2 weeks out from getting my Tattoo.. I already know she will most likely tell me to wait another week or two 
Nothing like a good deal on clothes.. 
Enjoy your night be careful if you have to drive... 
Humm lawn mower said no.. but my fault forgot to put the tender on it.. Humm so battery might be totally dead.. Anywho walked and picked up a few more twigs front and back.. Then came in finish cleaning the trunk a friend gave me and moved it to it's new spot.. But had to move other things and find places for them to go in order to put it there.. Then dust and mop that area. Was able to put all the extra blankets & pillows inside of the Hope Chest.. Off to take a break~~~ 
I'm exhausted from just reading everything you've done so far and you're 1 hr behind me

Good morning lurkers one and all! Stopping by to get my morning fix ....vodka and OJ...to kick of this weekend.. First up to a Clothing sale ...Brand names I believe in a convention center by me. Then on to a pool party with a live band, for a buddy's 65th Birthday.....and hopefully cool off in the pool... Just not gonna predict the night ending results...but hoping for a great ending nevertheless!!! And I am outta here !!! that does sound like a cool-ish day.. who doesn't love a good deal on clothing brands.. enjoy.. and good luck? lol |

Honestly that is not a bad idea ...
I was looking at the weather in Canada yesterday. Due to some of my little sisters friends are in Canada on vacation and the pictures are amazing it is Beautiful there.. And the weather is perfect.. I'm so missing the weather in Oregon.. right now...
My ex daughter in law, her parents have a place here and in Colorado.. When it is hot here they go to Colorado and stay, then come back after the worst of the heat..
where abouts in Canada are they? yeah.. we've had heat and probably will again but.. for now it's fairly decent weather.. who knows.. maybe next summer.. you're welcome anytime.. with a heads up of course.. so I can clear off the guest bed

kidding aside.. that's nuts.. even 98F seems too hot for me.. but 100+?? forGET it.. no thank you.. I'm happy with our current temps here.. at least those of the last day or 2.. 55 days of 100+?? MAN I can't stand a week of that.. I can't imagine toughing out 2 months of sweltering heat..
maybe if you think like this.. it might help

current temp is... drum roll... 61F with a high of 75F (but will feel like 79F) which is nothing compared to what TX is going thru right now.. I really feel for ya TG.. but I ain't complaining about NOT having to turn on the A/C and actually considering turning on the heat crazy for july 23rd but.. no control over the weather.. if I did? it'd be like this EVERY day lol GREAT for sleeping..
anywho.. yard work ta do and this weather is perfect for it so.. hi ho.. hi ho.. have a great Thor's day folks

OMG it's GORGeous outside.. currently 63F with a wonderful 8-12 mph wind.. ah-MAZE-zing..
gawd I love this type of weather.. clear skies and cool breezes.. ahhhhhhhhhhh.. such a great relief from all the heat.. sorry TG.. ma bad.. I know yer sweltering at 118F currently.. phew.. I feel for ya.. the heats coming back tho.. this weekend

well anudder day is coming to a close..
been really windy today.. phew.. at first it was awesome.. then it turned wild.. tree limbs scattered everywhere.. whoa.. I managed to pick up some before the torrential rains started.. along with thunder'n lightning.. I do love a summer storm tho.. *giggles* poor coons are getting soaked.. but not like I can stop the rain.. if yer hungry.. ya eat regardless huh.. anywho.. gotta do some dishes, kitchen tidying, shower (if the rain wasn't so cold I'd do it OUTside ) then maybe watch a movie.. got the new Mandalorian & Grogu one.. we'll see..
hope everyone enjoyed their day and is also enjoying the evening..
