A few shocks in the FA cup this weekend. Like to see an underdog come up trumps. Not sure the overall winners will be an underdog though. Going to see Sheff u against spurs tomorrow night. Not a blades fan but "Come on you Blades" all the same

Nice. FA Cup was crazy this weekend.
Good to see small teams have a go at the Premiership teams though? Hats off to Bradford though, who were 2-0 down at half time at Stamford Bridge, against Chelsea and fought back to win 4-2, that was the result of the round i think?bigsmile drinker

YEP I wish I had doubled up with them and Boro. Saw blades v Spurs other nigh, cracking atmosphere, great game Spurs had two class players, Eriksson and Kane.Kane is a big unit but class. Future star for sure
Saw the in running price for Bradford, at half time Donny, in Wm Hills, it was 1500/1? Should've stuck even a 1 on, but in reality who have you seen take 4 goals off Chelsea, in one half at Stamford Bridge? Especially, after being 2-0 down at half time?

Yep Messi lots of If's in life, like they say if the queen had balls she'd be king.I heard a bloke had a tenner on Boro and Bradford at 400-1. Don't know how true it is.Hope Blades and Man u get through tonight then they play each other.
The price for Bradford before the game with Wm Hills, was 28/1 and for Middlesborough it was 10/1, so not a bad wee double Donny. Chelsea did me for 3500 on saturday there.C**ts and it wouldn't surprise me if the Queen has got balls? Never know with that mob? laugh laugh laugh laugh

Ha ha your not wrong about that mob.Me thinks there's still a lot to come out of the yewtree thing with politicians and royalty alike. I am a staunch republican and i would gladly vote to get shut in some kind of referendum. Anyway I digress, watched my second team Fiorentina last night, poor game too much play acting by both teams but at least they won.

LUFC. The greatest team that ever played...

In the seventies maybe but where are they now?

Glasgow Celtic FC, the first British team to win the European Cup, in 1967 and they did it with a team that came from a 25 mile radius of Glasgow also. Hail, hail, the Celts are here!!! bigsmile bigsmile drinker drinker

Trouble is what have they won since out of Scotland Messi. Rovers won the Johnston's paint trophy a few years ago, is that any good?

Defo The Stone Roses, i think? drinker

That whole genre passed me by but my brother was an art student and he was in to all that kind of stuff. He got me into The Wedding Present!

what and how would you categorize as "classical" anyway??

<phantom of the opera - all i ask of you - Jackie Evancho>

A difficult question. I class some of Mike Oldfields stuff as modern classical especially the obvious, Tubular bells!

This is not a fair question. You need to take into consideration different genres and different generations. That said, the only logical answer is KISS.

Yep your right in one respect you have to take genres etc, into consideration and it's all about opinions but Kiss? What genre do they come under. Pantomime??

Admittedly, they aren't musical geniuses by any means, but they put on a better show than anyone else, and their music isn't bad. Actually, the music is good, but their lyrics, especially in the early days, needed help. Best number of bands, I think, would be more fun and thought provoking.

Never saw Kiss live so I couldn't comment on them live but my sister saw them years ago and wasn't impressed. If you are talking of showmen (Or women for that matter), "THERE's ONLY ONE FREDDIE MERCURY"!!I saw them (Queen)in 1982. AWESOME
