Typical Americans, everyone is entitled to our opinion. I saw the thread voiced my opinion that's all.. not that you are all the same there are some very knowledgeable people on the music sites . As for me being a troll. PLEASE!! You lot are only interested when your country is doing well. By the way love Chomsky my favourite philosopher, read some it will broaden your mind!!

Most Death metal is crap. Sometimes the riffs are good but overall its mostly crap. A sweeping statement if ever I read one. I see your point in that a lot of the vocals are poor,e.g Jobs for a cowboy but like you say there are some brilliant riffs which in my eyes (opinion) makes up for the vocals |

Billy Squire in early 80s....don't remember the exact year, or the tour name. Also, Rolling Stones - Steel Wheels Tour. Those are my all time fav live shows. 
I remember Billy Squire, he had an album namely Emotions in Motion and Freddie Mercury and Roger Taylor did backing vocals on at least one track.I think he also supported them on one of Queens American Tours. |

No its not rude its my opinion. They might be "fit" but its rubbish to watch. perhaps the Americans are riveted because their women are still in it. The media in England are going overboard with it cos our women are still in it most true football fans don't give a toss about it! , Yes our mens' football is poor at the moment but thats the greedy premier leagues fault accepting all that money from Sky and young English players don't get a chance because of all the expensive foreign players/mercenaries who come over for the pay check. You wont know this, because you are too young, but my 2nd favourite song is 'Through the Barricades' by Spandau Ballet I remember that one my sister was a Spandau ballet song. My second choice would have to be Barcelona by Freddie and Monserat Caballe. Makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck every time I hear it |

DonnyRver oh yeah you right , Duran Duran does sing that but I just love that song. I commend you on your 80's taste. Cheers mate, the early 80's were great then house, acid house and rave took over and I concentrated on metal after that. |

I didn't know Air Supply ever purported to be metal, so not them. Probably "Quiet Riot." It seems their only intention was to pop out a couple top-40's and quit trying. Def Leppard is a strong second. I like their music, but they were "riding the fence" when it came to going full metal, and never picked a side. Or I guess they did, actually? Quiet Riot? 
They didn't even "pop out" any top 40 crap. They borrowed "their" music. Come on feel the noise... And, Mama we're all crazy now... Were both originally performed and recorded by a band named Slade Quiet Riot's only "talent", was doing cover tunes. .... Worst band ever? It's a tie, between 'Hanson' and the Beatles. Slade were an ace glam rock band of the 70's. Noddy Holder their lead singer is a legend. He used to buy his gig clothes of Freddie Mercury's stall on Kensington Market before Freddie was famous. Slade had a bit of a renaissance in the early 80's with "run run away" and "My Oh My". worst band in metal Tank,. Their" claim to fame" was a cover of crazy horses by the Osmonds. Saw them live. s***e!! |
