THE BEATLES #1 no other band comes close PAUL and JOHN are GODS!!! RINGO and GEORGE are close too!!! Nah just a over hyped boy band of their time. Must admit Ringo's good on Thomas the Tank engine though. I'm not a Beatles fan, but have you ever really listened to George play the guitar and Ringo play the drums? And their harmonies were really good. At a time when "guitar bands are on their way out" these mop headed boys from Liverpool decided otherwise and influenced almost every band that started up in the 70's-90's, and even beyond. Course I have listened to the Beatles, sooner listen to the stones though! Ps went to Liverpool a few weeks ago, they haven't let go off the Beatles "phenomenon" yet either! |

We have this cool Internet thing. You can find pretty much any song that's ever been written. Google is a good place to start. Charlie Daniels had many classics. Very droll, more to do in life than surf for Charlie Daniels "classics". I know all about Google thank you very much, apparently its very good for grown up stuff! |

Do you spell rap with a silent C? Just asking! Ahh heres another one....ok sir how about you go listen to a tribe called quest, common, krs-one, talib kweli, mos def, rakim, poor righteous teachers, arrested development, scarface, lupe fiasco and others. The radio and tv only play the catchy poppy ********. Don't judge till you've done your homework friend Its all about opinions mate, a lot of friends and work colleagues slag my music taste off because I Like slipknot , Mastodon, Megadeth Korn etc.They all listen to "todyay's" pop which is total garbage in my opinion. I totally agree with your comment about radio and Tv they play what they are paid to play. I just find rap tedious, no offence meant mate. |
