Trouble is what have they won since out of Scotland Messi. Rovers won the Johnston's paint trophy a few years ago, is that any good?

Doesn't matter Donny? We won the big one and got beaten in the 1970 European cup final, by Feyenoord. We got into the UEFA cup final in 2003. We beat Liverpool and a good Blackburn Rovers side also to get there that year. I watched that Johnstones paintfinal that you won also in extra time. I also watched the semi-final, which you got through 6-5 on aggregate? I know my football Donny, see? bigsmile drinker

Football is a girl's game. They've banned tackling, and it's on the verge of becoming a non contact sport. I can see why the yanks don't like it; who wants to watch 90 minutes of nothing, boring 0-0 draws all the time.

I agree that the premier league is getting that way and maybe the top Spanish and Italian leagues but lower down the English league is still the cut and thrust of old and some of the 0-0 draws I have seen are far from boring. The yanks don't like it because they have to see loads of goals which is a bit contradictory when their national sport is stop start boring nonsense.
