Um this is a recycled Bush, Cheney, Rice joke.

Try to be more original.

Being vegan, I've got a good excuse not to try something that smells rancid or looks ew.

Divorce easier and more accepted these days. People will jump into something they're not ready for because it's simple to get out of.

SIMPLE...are you kidding me...

It might cost you some money, but if you both are just going to give up, yeah. Simple.

It does.

My parents were married for only two years, and my grandparents just had their 50th wedding anniversary. They got married when they were 16.

I'll probably never get married.

Aside from my ravishing good looks, my brilliant sense of humor, and my superior intelligence?

No.

I'm even a stickler for grammar in my text messaging.

i'm apprehensive about touching hands with strange men. I have this notion that men don't wash after using the bathroom as consistently as women do lol. Also, men would go pee anywhere, anytime, and where there is no soap and water around... bleh sick

You'd be surprised at how disgusting women are. Especially while working in the service business, I was shocked to see how many women (customers) would go to the bathroom, and then just use the mirror to primp instead of washing off their pee hand before they walked out to go finish their dinners.

If I leave the house, I travel around in a giant hamster ball so I don't have to touch anything.

Tromeo appears to be really good at generalizations.

"Some Republicans said X, so all Republicans believe X"

This is called a Misleading Vividness fallacy.

How is that any different than Republican's doing that about "liberals" or Democrats?

You just did it again. laugh

No, I didn't. I don't think you actually understand the question.

Yes, I understand the question.

Not ALL Republicans do it to all democrats.

Is it good when anyone generalizes the behavior of a minority of a group of people as being the norm for all people of that group? No, it's not.

So maybe you should address what people actually say instead of generalizing bad behavior, of which they may or may not be guilty.

That's the entire point. A majority of vocal republicans spent the past eight years calling all those that didn't support Bush or his wars traitors and unAmerican.

All the threads on this very site from the election night were "patriotic Americans" saying that they don't support Obama and that those that supported them are terrorists, liberals, baby killers, whatever.

So, really, you have no validity. It's not so much a complete generalization as a "Wow, you guys are hypocrites."

A majority of vocal republicans...

Can you name some? And how many Republicans are vocal? You are just proving my point. You are generalizing an offensive and stupid behavior to a whole group of people. How are you any better than the racists who say "All black men want to do is steal and screw white women"?

Have you read any of the political threads on here?

Of all of the sites I visit with talk threads, this one has the most closed minded and racist hypocrites. He's right. I could name at least ten who participate regularly on these boards, but you can just scroll through and see for yourself.

That happened to me. I told people I left due to poor management. In that, I was hired at 32 hours a week and given 16, so I left. (New job in hand) I never said, "Not enough hours"..... why would I take a job with not enough hours?

Well it usually happens when someone is promised a certain amount of hours or shifts, and the company fails to keep that promise. At least in my experience.

Yes, but you did not leave due to "not enough hours". You left due to poor management.

I would prefer to not to tell a potential new manager that I had problems with my previous management when applying for a new job. Especially since they will probably be calling for a reference.

I also wouldn't tell current manager "I'm leaving because you're a sucky liar." I would say, "I need to find another job that can give me more hours because I can't afford my birth control and heroin."
