Six CF-18 fighter-bombers, two CP-140 surveillance planes, one aerial tanker aircraft and 600 personnel have been tapped to join coalition airstrikes in Iraq for up to six months, pursuant to the motion before the Commons.
Harper stressed Canadian troops would not be involved in ground combat against ISIS, also known as ISIL. http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/isis-mission-mps-approve-air-combat-role-1.2790189 Well, the Liberals and the NDP have really helped me decide who to vote for next election with their " We need to be giving humanitarian aid Not military aid " view. Since they would rather have us sitting on the sidelines (despite the majority of Canadians supporting military action) and much as I dislike Harper looks like I'll be voting Conservative. Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Jordan, Egypt, Qatar, Iraqi Kurdistan, Bahrain, United Kingdom, Australia, France, Germany, Canada, United States Yet ... Harper is suffering from delusion much like other leaders. Generals and military analysts have already stated ...... air strikes alone will NOT eradicate I.S.I.S. (I.S.I.L.) it will require boots on the ground. |

Julia Pierson resigned from her job as director of the Secret Service on Wednesday, a day after she faced grilling on Capitol Hill about security lapses and her leadership.
Debate about whether Pierson should stay or go had been growing in the wake of a security breakdown at the White House last month and other revelations in recent days that have further damaged the agency's reputation. White House spokesman Josh Earnest said at the daily briefing that Pierson met with Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson earlier in the day and offered to step down because she felt it was in the best interest of the agency. The secretary and President Barack Obama agreed with that assessment, Earnest said. Obama then telephoned Pierson and thanked her for her 30 years of service. Despite the incident on Sept.19 when a man with a knife in his pocket jumped the fence at the White House and made it inside the building, Obama had maintained confidence in the Secret Service and in Pierson, according to Earnest. If they are illegal I'd tell them to leave also. It's not like I haven't before or when I'm in a store or at a restaurant and you hear them speaking another language (which is god damn rude), I usually stop and remind them where we are at and what language we speak here.
So Quebec tourists should stop spending money in FL or other southern states since they speak French between each other? I should not speak in French to my wife (whose French lessons are coming along quite well) ? No, I would remind you what damn country you are in and that ENGLISH is the language here and if you don't like it get the hell out and that's a statement I have made on many occasions.
What you do is plain rude. Maybe when I hear Americans speaking English in Montreal I should remind them of where they are, the language spoken here and let them know they are rude and should just get the hell back to the States? That wouldn't be freedom of speech, that would be freedom of expression. If they like their country so god damn much they should go back there. Hell, they are probably illegal's anyway.
Guess I shouldn't wear my Canadian flag on my shoulder either when I go there. Better yet ..... come and take it off. As for 'knowing' whether someone is there legally or not .... only sure way is to ask for a Green card or naturalization papers. Which you can't do. |

St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar told reporters early Sunday that the officer was shot after approaching two men at the Ferguson Community Center, which was closed at the time. As the officer approached, the men ran away. When the officer gave chase, "one of the men turned and shot," Belmar said. There's no reason to believe the shooting was connected with demonstrations over the August police shooting of unarmed African-American teen Michael Brown, authorities said. "It didn't happen within the proximity of the protest area," said St. Louis County Police Chief Col. Jon Belmar. The shooting scene was in a more secluded area. In the aftermath of the shooting, county police officials gave differing accounts of what led up to it, saying at one point that it involved two suspects who spontaneously ran from the officer's squad car. http://www.cnn.com/2014/09/27/us/ferguson-police-officer-shot/index.html?hpt=hp_t2 ............... 1st: the shooting of MB, is still undetermined, so for a RMPLOYEE of the citizens to show support is something like allowing teachers to say a prayer,, their personal position has no place in their job
off the job , they should wear whatever they wish 2nd, in no circumstance should it be ok for an officer to hide who they are,, that is the only way to hold them accountable , INDIVIDUALLY, for their actions re 1st .... Have to agree. This action only adds fuel to an already tense situation. re 2nd .... Again agreed. The purpose of the tags and badge numbers for that matter is to be able to identify an officer in event of a problem. Belmar told reporters the officer was very close to two suspects when one turned on him with a gun. He said the officer blocked the gun with his arm and then was shot. Police later said the account of two suspects was incorrect. The wounded officer is able to speak and told colleagues about the incident, police said. |

What I'm not reading from the Muslim community is condemnation of horrific acts committed by their brothers and sisters. Here's the scenario when it comes to the so-called moderate Muslims. Tonto and The Lone Ranger are riding across the prairie, when they are surrounded by 10,000 Comanche Indians. The Lone Ranger sets up in his saddle, looks around and says, "Well Tonto, Looks like we're surrounded!" Tonto looks around and says "What's this 'WE' stuff, white boy?" Just a sampling http://www.ctvnews.ca/world/western-muslims-rally-against-extremism-1.2027397 http://www.npr.org/2014/09/25/351277631/prominent-muslim-sheikh-issues-fatwa-against-isis-violence http://www.nationalreview.com/article/388593/moderate-muslims-stand-against-isis-christine-sisto |

Nobody seems to understand that America is behind this war: it started it , supports it by promising money. Meanwhile innocent people die there everyday, thousands flee to Russia. And how the Ukrainian government could do this to its own country just to please America?! Huh??? Last I saw it was Russian backed fighters trying to get Ukrainian territory back into Russian control. N.A.T.O. has promised $15M to assist the Ukraine. The innocents are being killed by Russian backed troops. Flee to Russia?????? |

Soldiers from Canada and other NATO countries will take part in joint exercises with the Ukrainian army this month that are likely to further fuel suspicions between Moscow and the West.
A total of 1,300 soldiers will take part in the 10-day drills, which begin on Sept. 16 at the Yavoriv training centre, near the western Ukrainian city of Lviv. The Pentagon said the United States will contribute 200 soldiers to the exercise, which is code-named Rapid Trident. It wasn’t clear Wednesday how many Canadian troops would take part. . . . Russia, for its part, accuses NATO of deliberately stirring up tensions in Ukraine. Mikhail Popov, the deputy secretary of Russia’s National Security Council, said Tuesday that Moscow would soon draw up a new military doctrine, in response to “the desire of U.S. and NATO leaders to continue their policy of aggravating tensions with Russia.” General Yury Yakubov, a senior official in Russia’s Defence Ministry, said Wednesday that he hoped to see the new military doctrine – which will update a 2010 document – explicitly name the United States and NATO as Russia’s enemies. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/world/nato-to-take-part-in-joint-exercises-with-ukrainian-army/article20332348/ |

The way you clowns continuously hate on Obama, is what led to the beheading of these journalists.
When enemies see that Americans are blinded by race so much, that they will not stand with Obama even in a crisis...you embolden them. Carry on.. 1.. The beheading of the journalists has nothing to do with whether people approve of Obama. But Obama's approval does depend on how he reacts to terrorists 2.. Obama is not hated due to race but due to a lack of leadership skills. He has made decisions that the American people view as being the wrong decisions for the occasion. 3.. The right to openly criticize a leader is called FREEDOM. Let an ISIS member openly criticize the leadership and see how long he lives...I doubt it would be very long. |

You make it almost sound like a place where people want to hang out..
Where Muslims can work on their abs... get a suntan..go to a shrink and discover their feminine side. Guantanamo is a concentration camp. Located in Cuba. So the USA can dodge the human laws that are present in the USA. People get waterboarded there, exposed to loud music 24 hours a day.Or are exposed to sleep depravity. A lot of them have been so desperate that they went into hunger strike. The USA could not let them die that way and get bad publicity. So they force feed them with tubes several times a day. Which is very painfull. Also they have been sexually harrased and humiliated. None of them where ever tried before they came there. The USA has many of these secret camps. No wonder that people hate USA policies. And then the USA cries wolf that terrorists want to kill them... my god! Your government is based on spreading fear on it's citizens. So they can justify more wars and occupie more territory. Terrorists treat their hostages and prisoners so much better? ISIS is massacring entire towns. Women and children being hauled off, held as prisoners and some simply disappear. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/iraq-crisis-amnesty-international-uncovers-evidence-of-ethnic-cleansing-by-isis-9705719.html Your Country wouldn't exist without the Americans so put that in your coffee shop and smoke it.
Like the French, you caved in as soon as Hitler came calling so think about what you are saying before you make disrespectful comments. Incorrect. The Dutch underground was extremely active. Also incorrect is that Holland would not exist without Americans. Completely false as it was Canadians that liberated Holland at the request of the Dutch, and we kicked butt doing it!!!! Hence why Ottawa recieves tulips from Holland every year. |

Nope. The angle on the thumb injury is wrong. And unless they occurred after the thumb laceration the upper arm is blocked so now way to wound there. If the arm were out more then upper arm wounds possible but angle still wrong for thumb. If held higher the thumb still not possible while other injuries would be to back of arm. Try it with a laser pointer. Set up pointer about 10-15 feet away aim for a wound area and move hand around while surrenduring to attempt same wound. |

After the shooting in Ferguson, Michael Brown's family hired Dr. Michael Baden, a former New York State Police medical examiner, to conduct a second autopsy, and the federal Department of Justice instructed the Armed Forces Medical Examiner to conduct a third.
What you can tell from a second or third autopsy is limited by autopsy artifact -- changes to the evidence caused by the performance of the first autopsy. In the course of the first, legally mandated autopsy, the forensic pathologist will have taken the organs out and sliced them apart for examination. The gunshot wounds will have been probed, and sometimes even cut into. . . . . . Already the results of Baden's limited investigation are being used to support the contention that Brown was surrendering, and that the wounds were distant range, even though Baden himself said neither. To a forensic pathologist, the body diagram Brown's attorneys released tells a different story. The wound at the top of the head, the frontal wounds and angled right hand and arm wounds suggest that the victim was facing the officer, leaning forward with his right arm possibly extended in line with the gun's barrel, and not above his head. The image of a person standing upright with his hands in the air when he was shot does not appear compatible with the wounds documented on that diagram. Whether a forward-leaning position is a posture of attack or of surrender, however, is a matter of perspective. From the perspective of a witness, it could appear that the leaning person is complying with the officer and getting down. From the perspective of the officer, he may appear to be coming at him. Partial evidence yields partial answers, and a rush to conclusions based on one isolated set of data from a second autopsy only raises more questions. Taken from: What Michael Brown's autopsy tells us |
