The Hoser Queen will rule her subjects for years to come.
Try to learn a little political history. The Queen is a figurehead and has no say over Canadian laws. If Canadians could legally own self defense weapons.
I corrected your spelling for you. I so wish that it wasn't as difficult here. btw Canadians can legally own weapons...it's using them in self defense that is the problem. Canadians are a jealous bunch-a-poosays.
No freedom there so, they wanna DICKtate to us. I took the liberty of correcting your spelling again, tried a dictionary? When American policies stop influencing what happens here, among other places then maybe we won't have anything to say. Might also have nothing to say on the firearms policies if your ferals kept the guns on your side of the border instead of sending them to our ferals. Actually the Technology applied to Firearms isn't worth Crap, only pleases the Apologists and Gungrabbers!
Very true Must be why Canadian guns were confiscated.
A nation full of fruit cakes. Note: They weren't confiscated. As to second sentence... it's the one good side to our current laws. Our fruitcakes don't get the guns and we don't have mass shootings because of it. Your excuse? The most reliable Firearms are those with the least Bells and Whistles!

Boy oh boy, these darn evil guns harmin would be street toughs and criminals. Bet these homeowners went around and stole their guns from glove boxes! 69-Year-Old Vietnam Veteran Shoots Intruders Posted: Nov 21, 2013 2:54 PM Updated: Nov 22, 2013 5:29 AM By: Denise Yost, Multimedia Content Manager - email By: Denise Alex - email COLUMBUS, Ohio - A 69-year-old west Columbus man said he defended himself, his partner and his home from robbers. The attempted robbery occurred at a home on Cascade Court in Columbus at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. The Vietnam veteran said a female neighbor came to his home Wednesday afternoon, and behind her were four men, two of whom were armed with guns. "(They said,) 'We want your money. We're robbing you.' And then all of a sudden they start hitting my partner," he said. The victim said that one of the men demanded cash. His partner was able to escape from the home and ran to call 911. At the same time, the 69-year-old man said that one of the suspects came toward him brandishing a gun. That's when, the victim said, he fired two shots at the suspect. "They turned their gun on me and when they did that I just stood up and shot," he said. "I honestly felt that I would have gotten killed. He would have gotten killed … And I wasn't going to let it happen." Columbus police said one of the gunshots struck the suspect in the neck. Police said another shot struck another suspect in the chest. "My adrenaline started going. I said, 'Well, it's either kill or be killed.' That's the way I looked at it just like we had to look at it in Vietnam. I had to protect our house," the victim said. Both men are hospitalized at Mount Carmel West Hospital. The two other suspects were not arrested. Police said charges are pending. The victim said that after the last time he was robbed, his partner bought a gun. He said he keeps that gun with him at all times. The Vietnam veteran who lives with his partner on Cascade Court says if he had to do it all over again he would. http://www.nbc4i.com/story/24037289/they-turned-their-gun-on-me- Gun Control = Hitting your target. |

A San Diego man may be the latest victim of “knockout,” a disturbing new activity spreading across the country involving teens or young adults physically assaulting unsuspecting strangers.
Victoria Hyatt says her husband was attacked in such a way by a stranger in downtown San Diego on Tuesday. As her husband waited to cross the intersection at 2nd Avenue and Ash Street, Hyatt says a man walked up beside her husband and then, out of nowhere, punched her husband in the face. “And as soon as he hit him as hard as he could, he just kept walking,” Hyatt told NBC 7 San Diego. “It was like nothing had happened.” Hyatt says her husband was in complete shock and never saw the attack coming. “[The man] was dressed like any other young man downtown. He had a nice dress shirt on, a nice pair of slacks,” she said. When Hyatt learned the assault on her husband may be tied to the fast-spreading “knockout” game, she couldn’t believe it. “I had never heard of this before,” she said, adding that something like this could happen to anyone. “It appears to be a relatively new trend,” said San Diego Police Department Officer Jim Johnson. Officer Johnson says that while police may not be tracking “knockout” incidents locally just yet, but that doesn’t mean it’s not happening. And he says people need to understand the seriousness of the so-called game. “First of all, it’s a crime, just the initial act itself,” he explained. “But let’s say that person falls down, hits their head and dies. Then, that means you’re probably going to go to jail for life.” Hyatt says the attack on her husband should serve as a warning to others to always be on alert. “Be more aware of who’s around you – what’s going on around you,” she said. As for those who think this is a game, she has another message: “Knock it off. Knock it off. You’re hurting a lot of people and it’s not a game. It’s not a game.” Hyatt says her husband is recovering and luckily, he’s okay. She says he called police immediately after the attack and officers were able to track down the man who hit him. However, so far, no charges have been filed. Cases of “knockout” have been reported around the country, with many of the assaults caught on camera in places like New Jersey, Missouri, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. In Pittsburgh, a teacher suffered life-threatening injuries from a “knockout” punch. In Chicago, a 62-year-old grandfather was actually killed from injuries sustained in an attack linked to the dangerous game. Earlier this month, a 78-year-old woman fell victim to the game in Brooklyn, making her the ninth reported “knockout” victim in New York. Authorities in New York have been investigating the incidents as hate crimes. The alarming trend began gaining national attention in May after a group of teenagers in Syracuse, N.Y., allegedly knocked out a 51-year-old man and stomped on him. The man died from his injuries. In New York, reports of recent “knockout” incidents have prompted community leaders to call for an end to the violence. Because Maryland Lacks a Castle Doctrine Air Force Sgt. Charged with Murder After Shooting Crazed Intruder in His Home
Maryland has chosen to side with the criminals. Because the state has no Castle Doctrine in place, a US Air Force Sgt. Has been charged with murder for simply protecting his family from a crazed intruder. According to Maryland he should have just called 911. On September 13th just before 2am, US Air Force Tech Sgt. Matt Pinkerton shot a man who kicked in his front door demanding to see his wife. The intruder, Kendall Green, had been harassing Pinkerton’s wife, Jessica . Green had helped Jessica when her brother was in a coma from an accident and her husband, Matt was overseas serving his country. It’s clear from reports that Green tried to pursue a deeper relationship with Jessica, which she refused and tried to end the friendship. “Green had texted me sometime in July or August saying that he missed the kids, and Matt didn’t deserve us and that he deserved a chance. He wanted more,” Jessica stated. But on a late Sunday night Sgt Pinkerton and his wife were entertaining a couple in their home, one of whom was Matt’s brother. That’s when Green showed up at the door and demanded to see Jessica. Pinkerton would not allow Green into his home. He closed the door and returned to his wife and guests. That’s when Green kicked down the door and came at Pinkerton in a fit of rage. Pinkerton had grabbed his Glock 17 when he first heard someone outside his door at that late hour. When Green came at him Sgt. Pinkerton fired a shot and struck Green from 10-15 feet away. When Green came at him the 2nd time Pinkerton fired a second shot, which caused Green to stumble his way out the door, collapsing on the porch. Mike Pinkerton, one of Matt’s guests, recalled the incident: “He (Green) kept coming forward so Matt fired. He rocked backwards and took another step forward at which time Matt took his second shot. He stumbled backwards and fell out the door onto the porch. When the shots were fired Jessica called 911. Matt spoke to the operator; he removed the clip from his gun and the bullet in the chamber. Police arrived within five minutes.” In most states this would be a cut and dry case of self-defense, but Maryland’s lack of a castle doctrine enables criminals to feel safe when they break into a home. Except in this case, Sgt. Pinkerton was not about to let his family become victims of an enraged intruder. According to the state of Maryland, Pinkerton should have called 911 and simply waited for the police to show up. Who knows, maybe just showing the phone to the intruder would have stopped him in his tracks, right? Being faced with murder charges for defending his family hardly seems like justice. But the Assistant State’s Attorney, Glen Neubauer sees this as the only recourse for Pinkerton’s actions. By the way, Neaubauer is a notorious anti-gunner who believes that just the act of grabbing a gun in this situation exemplified “bizarre behavior in itself”. What would be more bizarre is to sit idly by on the phone with a 911 operator after a crazed intruder just bashed his way into your home. But this is NOT just about there being an imminent threat when the police are still minutes away. Think about it. If this is not a clear case of a justified gun use, what is? The anti-gunners in Maryland have fought against the Castle Doctrine because if there is even a possibility of a gun being used for something good they cannot outright ban them. So even cases like this must be seen as murder instead of self-defense in order to enforce their ultimate agenda which is not so subtle anymore. Sgt. Pinkerton should not have been charged with murder, and this case should not even be going to trial. But now the family is facing major legal fees, and they have already had to get a $25,000 loan just to get Matt released on bond. Another $25,000 has been spent on legal fees. Not only does Maryland need a Castle Doctrine to stop empowering criminals from feeling safe when breaking into a home, but the state needs an Attorney General who understands the laws of self-preservation. I would venture to say that out of our 200,000+ fans most all of you would have done the same thing in Matt’s place. When a crazed lunatic who has been harassing your wife breaks in your door at 2am and starts coming at you, it’s not time to pick up the phone and place a quick call. There is not only a legal right but a moral one to protect your family. Yes 911 was called. But it was after Pinkerton ensured the safety of his wife and guests. You can check out the support page that Matt setup if you would like to know how you can help support his family during this time. Support page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Matt-Pinkerton-Support-Page/593087314065921?directed_target_id=0 ....................................... He's trained to defend his country and rights but not allowed to defend his family? How freaking stupid is that? |

When 2 armed and masked criminals robbed a local Reading, Pennsylvania store and tried to get away, an armed citizen pulled out his own gun and told the crooks to wait for police to arrive. But instead the 2 robbers aimed their guns at the private citizen and that’s when they were shot by this gun carrying hero.
But now the families of the 2 deceased crooks want “justice” for their loved ones and they are seeking to sue the private citizen for his brave actions. The private citizen’s name is not being released for fears of retaliation. It’s not fair,” said Virginia Medina, mother of 24-year-old William Medina, who police said robbed Krick’s Korner store alongside 18-year-old Robert De Carr on Monday. The two men were shot and killed by a private citizen while leaving the store, and family members want to see charges pressed. “[William] had no right to lose his life over something that man could have called the police for,” said Medina. “He took the law into his own hands and walked away scot-free.” “How about if people just start running around here, policing the city on their own? How much worse is it going to get?” said Peter Ratel, Medina’s cousin. The family members said they are hurt by comments suggesting the alleged robbers were “thugs.” According to Medina, William was “no big hard criminal” and was rather a family-man who loved his young daughter. Robert De Carr was described similarly by his sister, Taylor De Carr. “My brother was a good kid,” she told 69 News. While I’m sure the families of the 2 deceased are hurting from their loss, it does not help their cause to take away any responsibility of their loved ones and take aim at a man who was simply defending his life and trying to stop a crime. The families are blaming the wrong person all while justifying the act of robbing a store with guns and masks and then threatening to shoot an innocent bystander. The sister said “My brother was a good kid.” Really? So good kids terrify store clerks by pointing loaded guns in their faces. This is the real problem with crime in America. As long as families justify this kind of behavior it will only cause more armed robberies to occur. Our hats off to this private citizen who had the guts to stop the crime and wait for police, and who also was able and willing to defend himself when his life was threatened. Perhaps the families are so upset because they were really relying on the money the crooks were attempting to steal. These thugs are dead because of THEIR OWN ACTIONS. And thanks to Pennsylvania’s Castle Doctrine the families will not be able to sue the private citizen in civil court. http://gunsnfreedom.com/the-families-of-2-armed-robbers-who-were-shot-by-an-armed-citizen-want-to-sue-this-hero/ ............................... Good men??? Armed robbery is what good men do? They got what they would have given the store owner if he had refused to hand over his cash. They could have dropped their weapons and awaited police but they chose to raise weapons on someone who already had sights on them. The community is safer without these "good men". |

Paid every two weeks so double what is there to get monthly. This both Provincial and corporate coverage. Would only go up about $10 a month with spouse here. How by the name of anything holy can Obama call it AFFORDABLE health care? Looks like the wife going to be learning French. |

I translated this from an article in 'Le Journal de Montreal', Thursday October 17 2013. The journalist's e-mail is at the bottom.
This is how American economy is being seen outside of the US. Thoughts? The Economic Nightmare of the United States The extraordinary situation in which the United States finds itself goes well beyond the problem of the deficit and the debt. It reveals the fragility of a nation which, over decades, has accumulated bad political decisions. Where do the the American debt and deficit come from? There are multiple answers to this question. Here are three bad decisions, among others, which augmented the debt. A debt which could have been avoided 1) The unnecessary war in Iraq cost about 3000 billion to the American economy. The war in Afghanistan cost about the same. In this case a large scale bombing would have been as effective and less costly. Since the government did not have enough money to finance the two wars it borrowed 2000 billion dollars. 2)The deregulation of the mortgage market in the United States brought about in 2008 a world wide recession. The United States is slowly coming out of it.Without this crisis the American economy would be about 5.5% greater. But above all this recession dug deeper deficits. The government therefore borrowed more. Result, the debt grew by about 2000 billion since 2008. 3) The tax cuts decided upon by George Bush starting in 2001 deprived the government of significant revenues. Their cost: about 2000 billion. The Wrong Debate The total cost of these bad decisions on the debt is 9000 billion dollars. Without them the American debt wouldn't be 17000 billion dollars but less than 8000 billion. Instead of debating on the debt ceiling, American leaders should be questioning themselves on the causes of the debt. And propose remedies. Everything indicates that American leaders will continue to make bad decisions. For example, because of the debt, the American government will have more and more difficulty to pay for research programs, health, education etc. Tea Party backers risk blocking all tax hikes for the richest. The shadow of China and the shadow of terrorism will continue to justify elevated military budgets. A Dark Future In this context, the commercial partners of the United States are turning to other countries, China in particular. Within a few years China will be the premier world market for imported goods, ahead of the United States. The American dollar will be devalued by the yuan. American Treasury Bonds will be replaced by Chinese Treasury Bonds. In brief, the Americans will lose their commercial influence. Their dollar will depreciate. They won't be able to print money to pay the debt. Unfortunately for the United States, it could very well be that the economic nightmare is only just starting. loic.tasse@quebecormedia.com |

Yet Germany managed to pay off it's debt from WW1.
The sum was initially set at 269 billion gold marks, around 96,000 tons of gold, before being reduced to 112 billion gold marks by 1929, payable over a period of 59 years. |

karma, prejudice is not just an American phenomenon I have a hard time believing what most people post here, having put in a number of different scenarios and incomes into the premium tool Conrad, IM aware you will hate anything associated with OBama LP, I wish you would research things you read on the internet before blindly repeating them,,, Washington state finally released enrollment statistics from the health insurance marketplace it has been operating for a week, as did several other states, including New York and California, which revealed that tens of thousands of people have enrolled in their exchanges. http://www.cnbc.com/id/101096445 I know it isn't. I am a French-Canadian who has spent his life among Anglophones including 4 years in American education. I know about prejudice. I could care less about a man's skin/religion etc. What he does however matters. Then again he may be related to both Harper and Ren Lvesque. All done what is worse for the country. |

My mother-in-Law will pay through the freaking nose, sign over her first grandchild to afford this. What she will pay is about 5x what I pay in Canada for Universal Health Care. Starting to wonder if Harper and Obama aren't related. |
