I have the same problem. You really have to stack up your calories to see an increase. I was on a 4000+ calorie diet and working out and only managed to gain about 15 lbs in 6 months. Also when you work out you need to avoid all areobic exercise if at all possible. And you shouldn't be doing any more than 10-12 reps per set. That being said the last 2 reps should be nearly impossible for you to do. You have to go as heavy as you can possibly handle. It works, I just got tired of it and went back to a normal life.

You're going to need at least a 3000 stall in that torque converter (depending on the cam lift/duration) and would have better luck with 4.11 or better gears in the pumpkin. I think your buddy's simulator is off though. To get 210-220 out of the thing, you really need almost as many suspension/wheel/tire upgrades as you will engine mods, otherwise that lil car will hit the finish line in at least 100 pieces... best bet is a full Dana44 or Dana60 suspension and they aren't cheap unless you can find a couple wrecked vettes to jack parts off of, but well worth it. Read your profile. Keep going down the same track you are now (no racing pun intended) and you'll do great. I need to change my pants now... Marry me??? lol |
