To get the DOS window to stay open.

Click Run. Type in cmd hit return.

With the window open; right-click the top-bar, run down to defaults and click it. Un-tick the QuikEdit box.

OK everything back to desktop.

You can change the colours while you're doing this as well ... and tell it to scroll.

Powering them is the easy part. Solar panels are getting smaller and more powerful. Eventually they'll be able to spray a film of 'solar cell' onto a pair of glasses (think foster grants), which could then be used to power the mini-pc's.

Re-chargable toothbrushes don't have electrical contacts with the charger. The same method could be used to re-charge the battery in the mini-pc.

When you go to look for another cam. Look for one with a driver CD included, then it won't matter if Vista likes it or not, you can run it in compatability mode if you have the drivers. You just need to get the info. into the reg. file.

NTFS. It also allows you to cut DVD's that are over 4GB the limit for files in FAT32

Free Anti-Virus software from WWW.free-av.com Download it to either your machine or someone elses(if you have a flash drive), install it, run it, accept the random reg code, allow it to update, do what itsjustdave suggested, the AV will run at start-up and delete/quarantine any virus on your system (except some Trojans). Get a program like PopupCop from www.shemes install it, and stay away from porn sites (they're only gonna rip you off anyway, and the pix you do see, you can get from elsewhere without the attached viruses, spyware, and charge to your bank account).

The BIGGEST difference between Americans and Brits:

Americans think 100 years is a long time.

Nah, you're not quite right there ... Americans think 100 years is a long period of time. For some reason they need the period in there, even though a 'period' to an American is a full-stop.

Oh and don't forget the E.V.A. or to you and me Spacewalk.

If anyone owns a car and is not sitting in it, then they are E.V.A Extra Vehicular Activity.

AgedTramp, anyone can see you've got a winning personality! Dirtbags like you really piss me off! Why don't you learn how to be a man and stop harassing women?

And this is not a personal attack, why?

And here I was thinking that the original question was a serious question and not asked as a 'joke'.

Tazz42:

Why are you here? Certainly not to find a man if you think all they do is masturbate to your picture. Wouldn't you be better off with Yahoo! or MSN Live IM?

As to why I don't email someone who's matched with me, because they haven't responded to the 'flirt' that I sent.

I've sent four emails to propective matches here and not received a response from any of them. There comes a time when you think 'what the hell, let them make the first move'.

It looks to me like you're refing an http directory. When I was learning the basics of html, I was told to keep pix in the same directory as the main page ... it makes laoding quicker, and the files are easier to find. So if you ref a hard-drive directory instead it should cure the problem.

Re: your search and replace thing being a pain. I use Edit Pad Pro from curously enough www.EditPadPro.com this allows html editing and has a fully functional search and replace feature, and of course it's a hell of a lot quicker than MS Word.

Wouldn't the coding you need be on this page? Steal it.

My cams an LTI AMcam, got it from eBay for a fiver (about $10.00). The pic on the left is a cap. from it via ACDsee. Works with Trillion, Yahoo, Google, MSNLive. Came complete with mini-disc containing Drivers and Manual.

Yes.

I'm in Wednesfield. There are several others here too (I know to at least three girls from Wednesfield - I've 'Winked' 'em)but probably don't read these forums.

You should set your search for 10 miles from Wolves.

The brain uses small electrical impulses to move thoughts about. All we need to do is monitor those impulses and translate them - similar to the way the brain does - into images or commands for a computer.

You've lost me ...

Why haven't you got an MSN passport account?

I have, but I only use it for downloads from Microsoft or MSN. I never check for emails or login to anywhere else with it, it's just used for their sites (I'm not even sure it still has my own address since I've moved house twice since I first registered).

Re: my cam won't work with other software.

That's because you haven't downloaded the Generic drivers that you need to drive it ... <laugh Advertisement> Available from Microsoft free of charge. <End AD).
