Topic: The future computer! | |

So i was thinking about this real long and hard and it comes to the looks of it that basically i think about twenty years from now, our so called "computers" well be about four inchs wide and four inchs tall and possibly have a mini monitor with huge ram and graphics and processor capability, am just curious as to what you guys think the future of technology holds, or might hold for us in the near future.

it will be realized that our brains are the ultimate in physical computers

A 4" computer with a 56" monitor....

It'll be like Ghost in the Shell, our bodies will be robotic except for our minds. I love that show and the movies were sweet too.

I think we will evolve to using telepathic messages

I think we will evolve to using telepathic messages Um.. ok. HOW! man if that happens.. then. um |

haha i can cna hook my computer into my 56inch wega tv but why that's reatreded.

Everyone has the potential for telepathy--we just have to learn to use it. The mind is the most powerful "computer" there is..it can't be duplicated. We would need to learn to direct the thoughts correctly.

A 4" computer with a 56" monitor.... seriously, who the hell needs that big of monitor?if you can't see something on a 17" monitor than you need glasses |

Check Wikipedia for Quantum Computing. Intel has been working on fiber optic chips for over 4 years. Probably not but 2 college students built a quantum computer the size of 2 tables. Computer's in the near future maybe Chemical & Biological based processing technology able to interface with humans via RFID implants.

Skynet will wipe us out by then.

Monitors will be replaced by holographic projectors

I think we will evolve to using telepathic messages Um.. ok. HOW! man if that happens.. then. um The brain uses small electrical impulses to move thoughts about. All we need to do is monitor those impulses and translate them - similar to the way the brain does - into images or commands for a computer. |
