Carizma,

Am I correct in understanding that your webcam worked on a previous version of the same software, but not on a later version? Are you truly running the -latest- version?

Does it give you an error message, or are you not able to find the configuration for it, or is there some other problem?

(Also, I agree with the others: uninstall vista, install XP or another OS. It may not help you with this particular problem, but its a good idea regardless).

Oh! So there is no guarantee that that particular camera even works on Vista....

Are you still looking to buy a camera that will work for you?

When you go to look for another cam. Look for one with a driver CD included, then it won't matter if Vista likes it or not, you can run it in compatability mode if you have the drivers. You just need to get the info. into the reg. file.
