God gave us the free will to follow Him or not. If we follow God and ask Christ for salvation we will be saved. I have heard people talk like there is no God or all I have to do is be a good person
Some people don’t even care they think well I will just party down there but they won’t be partying. There will be so much pain they will be gnashing their teeth and screaming forever. MATTHEW 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Why people don’t believe in God I have no idea. But whether or not you believe in God, if you have not asked Christ for salvation you will go to hell and burn and scream forever not just a few thousand years Forever, Eternity. Those that think you can be nice and go to heaven are wrong. You will never have a perfect world there will always be sin in this world the only way we can get to heaven is to accept the gift of salvation Christ is offering. LUKE 13: 23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, 24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: People have doubt and are confused and think God did this to us but the devil is the one who did this. It takes faith that God will do what He says. Having that faith seems impossible for some people but with Christ all things are possible. It is not our place to judge it is between God and that person. All He wants from us is for us to love our neighbor and tell of our saviors salvation to all. JOHN 20:25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. 26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. If my salvation depended on what someone else thinks I should have done I would be dammed to hell. God can reach into anywhere He saved my sole in the middle of a drug party. Because I had faith; full belief that Christ was crucified buried, conquered hell and rose from the grave to save me from my sin belief that He could do what He said He would and I asked my Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. People will always look for other ways to get to heaven or not at all but the place you spend your eternity depends on whether or not you accept the salvation Christ has for you. Here is a sample prayer if you’re not saved today ask God for salvation in Jesus Christ’s Name. “Dear Heavenly father I know that I have sinned against you and am deserving of punishment. But Christ took the punishment that I deserve, so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven?" "Jesus Christ, with your help I place my trust in you for salvation, and I ask that you will forgive me of my sins. I thank you for your wonderful grace and forgiveness?” Go and tell a Christian church you have asked for salvation and go to Sunday school you'll find fellowship and the study of the bible to be a great help as you grow as a Christian. |

What God Wants For Us

The devil goes about like a roaring lion.
Our youth and adults are in danger, the lie the devil tells us can fool people easier than we realize. The youth are more susceptible to what the devil is telling them. By studying the bible we can learn what God wants for us. PSALMS 32:5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. While were here on earth we will still have sin in our life. 1PETER 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Salvation does not depend on anyone going to Church it is a gift from God. Attending church give us that peace, fellowship, guidance, and the knowledge God wants for us. HEBREWS 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised); 24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is ; but exhorting one another : and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Here is a sample prayer, If you're not saved today ask God for salvation in Jesus Christ's Name. Only by faith Saying this prayer is a way to declare to God that you are relying on Jesus Christ for your salvation. The Way We Are

Patience is required when your communicating with your family or anyone else. I know my friends and family have to have a lot of patience with me.
EPHESIANS 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, 2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. To tell him/her of Christ they will not want to hear it from someone who hasn't any. Patience is needed with those outside of your family and friends as well forbearing all with "lowliness and meekness". COLOSSIANS 3:13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also [do] ye. Everyone needs to see and hear Christ in you. If Christ is not dwelling in your heart you will not know the fullness of His love. JAMES 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this , that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If you haven't asked Christ for salvation you can ask now Here is a sample prayer, have faith in what your praying and you will be saved. God created man and He loves you and wants the best for you. I thank you for your wonderful grace and forgiveness?” Come tell a Christian church you have asked for salvation and you are invited to go to Sunday school and to worship. You will find the fellowship and the study of the bible to be a great help as you grow as a Christian. |

Faith in Christ

Jesus when He was on the cross gave salvation to the guy next to Him because knowing who Jesus was he asked Christ for salvation from that awful fate that awaited him. Faith is Believing that Christ went to the cross for you and not only believing but putting that faith into action and asking for the salvation that only He can give.
LUKE 23:41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. 42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. 43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. You can ask as simple as the man on the cross as long as you have full faith in Christ. Thomas on the other hand wanted to see physical proof or he wouldn't believe. 27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. If you’re not saved today Here is a sample prayer ask God for salvation in Jesus Christ’s Name. Have faith in what your praying and you will be saved. “Dear Heavenly father I know that I have sinned against you and am deserving of punishment. But Christ took the punishment that I deserve, so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven." I have to differ. The op is not berating, which is scolding, shouting at, criticizing, scolding, reprimanding. He is lovingly offering a sinner the way of salvation. This attitude that we can attract homosexuals to Christianity by telling them they are sinners, is harmful. It doesn't attract homosexuals to the church and it actually works to drive them away. The only people Jesus called out as sinners were the religious hypocrites. Call some homosexuals sinners and see if they invite you to dinner. If they don't, don't you think that maybe Jesus used a different method to approach the people of the world? The Jesus I read about in the Bible lived a wholesome life and preached eloquently about God and religion. Isn't that what Jesus tells us to do here? Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. So why not live that way, encourage all people to come to church and let Jesus form them as he will? That seems to be what Jesus asked of us. We are all sinners and assembling together at church is what God asks of us to love each other and worship God. |

If you think that homosexuality is right it is because God gave you up to uncleanness. He is letting you deal with the circumstances you are bringing on yourselves. God still loves you and wants you to have salvation and all you have to do is turn from the wrong you have been doing and ask our Lord for salvation. If somebody doesn't think what they are doing is wrong AND they currently aren't a Christian, why would they "turn from the wrong you have been doing and ask our Lord for salvation"? Learn the lesson of Jeremiah 18. If a person gives himself up to Jesus, he will be remade to suit God's purpose. Our job as Christians is to bring sinners into the church and then allow Jesus to fix them. Constantly berating homosexuals will never work. Learn the lesson of the Good Samaritan. Jesus brings the sinners to us and we accept them as they come. The inn keeper didn't reject the traveler, didn't question his ragged, filthy and wounded state. The inn keeper accepted the traveler as he was. We are to be that inn keeper. It is our job to accept the wounded, filthy and ragged people who come to us and care for them until Jesus returns. 1 Corinthians 5 tells us "For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? But them that are without God judgeth." Our job as Christians is NOT to judge the immoral in the world, that is God's job. I am not Judging anyone i don't know were you got that. Homosexuality is a sin. If you haven't asked Christ for salvation please do He loves you and gives salvation freely to those who ask. |

We should study the bible and obey. God wants a better life for us and we tend to ignore Him because of our sin.
For example the bible is very clear on Homosexuality it is an unnatural act. The way men & women were created was so they could have children. The sensual feeling was given so we would enjoy making love with each other. If you think that homosexuality is right it is because God gave you up to uncleanness. He is letting you deal with the circumstances you are bringing on yourselves. God still loves you and wants you to have salvation and all you have to do is turn from the wrong you have been doing and ask our Lord for salvation. There is no one that can sin too much that God can’t reach down and save you from your sin. The only unforgivable sin is not asking our Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. ROMANS 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Christ built the church on a rock “a strong foundation” a place to assemble our selves together so we can learn what God wants for us. The bible was given to us so we will know how to receive salvation and live life. MATTHEW 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Just because we don't follow some of the Old Testament customs doesn't mean that we can disobey God. Look to the Old Testament for the foundation and base "The Ten Commandments". Look to the New Testament for instruction on how we should live after Christ has died and rose to save us. The Jewish people are Gods people but God created us all to have life eternal and like the Jewish people We still sin in this life. If we obey and ask for salvation God will take our sin away. EXODUS 19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth [is] mine: PSALMS 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Ask God for salvation in Jesus Christ’s Name. Have faith in what your praying and you will be saved. Here is a sample prayer. “God I know that I have sinned against you and am deserving of punishment. But Jesus Christ took the punishment that I deserve, so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven." "Jesus Christ, with your help I place my trust in you for salvation, and I ask that you will forgive me of my sins. Atheism is a religion some just don’t understand the definition and atheism and humanism often times are tied together.
Humanism, would be a right way of thinking if it was true but it is the worst lie someone can convince themselves of. Some just think that religion stands for a Christian point of view. It is a belief system "a way of believing” so they get tied up in the word religion and don’t want to identify themselves with it. We all believe in something it's whether you believe in Christ or not that will lead you to salvation. PROVERBS 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. When the Lord was talking to His people He told them the right way to believe so that they would live a great life. But like the Jewish people in the past we also want to do things our way and I will not exclude myself. When you’re not in Church learning more about the way God wants you to live you will be in the world living the way you want to live. JOSHUA 22:5 But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul. Our heavenly Father created man and He loves you and wants the best for you. Here is a sample prayer, If you’re not saved ask God for salvation in Jesus Christ’s Name. Merry Christmas

I always considered myself a Christian because I always believed in Christ and tried to treat people nice but there is more to being a Christian than being nice or helping others.
You have to ask Christ for salvation then be careful that you don't start following something other than Christ. DEUTERONOMY 11:16 Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them; A person in life can be fooled into following anything if they let themselves. When I was twenty God put me in the right place to get the message of salvation and I asked Jesus Christ to save me. Christ will allways come to you at least once and more than likely several times don't push Him away. 2CHRONICLES 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Since i have been saved I have tried to be a good witness for Christ. As a Christian I have been led to tell of Christ and love everyone. If you’re not saved today Christ loves you and wants to give salvation to you. Here is a sample prayer, ask God for salvation in Jesus Christ’s Name. Have faith in what your praying and you will be saved. “Dear Heavenly father I know that I have sinned against you and am deserving of punishment. The Angel of Light
|
|
There are a lot of people that will tell everything except for Christ’s saving knowledge just to make you feel good and to give them power, money or both.
2CORINTHIANS 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Many false prophets the closer we get to Christ’s return will try to deceive you. If a person is trying to get you to believe in anything other than Christ he is a false prophet. ISAIAH 14:11 Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee. 12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! Now why would God create the devil or his angels that would follow him If God knew what the devil was going to do? The devil wasn’t always evil and when he became evil. God through him out of heaven and all the angels that would follow him. It’s like saying why did God create us if He knew we would follow the evil things the devil is telling us. Until Christ returns the devil will try to get us to follow him. He offers all the riches of this world to tempt us and it doesn’t have to be just money. He tries to get us not to believe in Christ as our savior and he will deceive us into thinking of ourselves instead of following what the lord has told us. God created man and He loves you and wants the best for you. Here is a sample prayer, If you’re not saved ask God for salvation in Jesus Christ’s Name. Have faith in what your praying and you will be saved. “God I know that I have sinned against you and am deserving of punishment. But Jesus Christ took the punishment that I deserve, so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven." The unbelieving Jews stirred up the people against Paul. He used to bind people and take them to Jerusalem and He had to answer for his past wrongs to the people so they would realize that he wasn't the same person.
ACTS 22:3 I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day. 4 And I persecuted this way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women. Before he was saved he was persecuting people with the law instead of helping. After he saw the light he was preaching Christ. He was not preaching the laws specifically and Christ had no intention of killing the law He was the fulfillment of the law. MATTHEW 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. While Paul made his defense to the people for what he had done. He also had to tell of the love Christ had for them. ACTS 22:5 As also the high priest doth bear me witness, and all the estate of the elders: from whom also I received letters unto the brethren, and went to Damascus, to bring them which were there bound unto Jerusalem, for to be punished. 6 And it came to pass, that, as I made my journey, and was come nigh unto Damascus about noon, suddenly there shone from heaven a great light round about me. 7 And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? 8 And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest. After he was struck down In the middle of a trip to persecute more people he had a realization of the great wrong he was doing. The Lord told him to go to Damascus for instruction on what to do. ACTS 22:14 And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth. 15 For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard. Paul used the experiences in his life to be a witness to the world and he started telling of Christ. If there is any that has not asked Christ for salvation Christ loves you and wants to forgive you of your sin. Here is a sample prayer, If you’re not saved ask God for salvation in Jesus Christ’s Name. Have faith in what your praying and you will be saved. “Dear heavenly Father I know that I have sinned against you and am deserving of punishment. Humble Yourself
|
|
Just because your saved from your sin that doesn't make you a Christian and as long as you are here on this earth you will still have sin in your life.
Because of the love shown to us we need to stay humble and tell people of Jesus Christ’s salvation. Now that's not the only thing we can do for Christ but it's the main thing He commanded us to do. MARK 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Now you can ask for salvation with full faith and you will be saved. Being a Christian is being Christ-like not just being saved from our sin. JOSHUA 22:5 But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul. You will either follow your sin or follow Christ. That’s why it is so important to be in church learning about Christ so you can be more like him. No matter what we do we should always love everyone and not judge. A sin is a sin no matter who does it. 2CHRONICLES 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Christ will send the Holy Spirit to you for comfort and guidance after you have asked for salvation so you can walk in all His ways. Does that mean you will not have problems “no”. What we will have is the knowledge that we will live forever in heaven with Christ. LUKE 11:11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? 12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? God created man and He loves you and wants the best for you. Here is a sample prayer, If you’re not saved ask God for salvation in Jesus Christ’s Name. Have faith in what your praying and you will be saved. “God I know that I have sinned against you and am deserving of punishment. But Jesus Christ took the punishment that I deserve, so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven." I think its understandable to share your experience with God,, as understandable as a parent bragging about a child, or a child bragging about their parents we often talk up the ones we love and respect to others,,,we just must be cognizant of the line between talking about God and preaching Gods message where its not wanted. You've got the wrong message somewhere. I view telling others about christ, as sharing my experience with God. I speak of that experience as it relates to my life often, much like I speak of other life experiences regarding my parents, or my friends, or my job,,,etc,,, if its a part of our life that we feel good about, its natural to talk about it I understand the OP intention of 'spreading the word' , Im just noting that its natural to want to speak about Christ, whatver the intent, if Christ is a part of your life which brings you joy Sharing with people your testimony is a good way of witnessing one of the best. I'm glad to hear that you do that. |

I like the verse where Jesus was talking to the guy that he had never seen so great of faith not in Israel. The guy was a leader of men. Can't place it right now. He was a centurion from the roman army. MATTHEW 8:8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. 9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. 10 When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. |

GENESIS 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
God told Adam and Eve not to eat the fruit of the tree of the "knowledge of good and evil". They did not listen to God's instruction and they found out good and evil. Until then they only knew good. God created us different than all the rest of His creation we had the free will to choose what we did. GENESIS 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. The devil knew what God was talking about and it was not physical death but spiritual. The devil tricked them into eating the fruit of the tree that they were told not to eat of. GENESIS 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. Now why did God put that tree there in the first place? God created us in His image with the freedom to choose. Why didn’t God just take care of it and give them another chance? God would be infringing on our right to choose. If God did just give them a start over they would not have choice. Why did God create man in the first place if He knew we were going to make the wrong choice? He loved us and knew that Christ could take away our sin and make it as if we never sinned from before, now, and forever. When Jesus came down and sacrificed Himself for all we had the choice to choose Christ. GENESIS 3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: God loves you and wants the best for you. Here is a sample prayer, If you’re not saved ask God for salvation in Jesus Christ’s Name. Have faith in what your praying and you will be saved. “God I know that I have sinned against you and am deserving of punishment. But Jesus Christ took the punishment that I deserve, so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven." "Jesus Christ, with your help I place my trust in you for salvation, and I ask that you will forgive me of my sins. I thank you for your wonderful grace and forgiveness.” Come and tell a Christian church you have asked for salvation and they will help you grow in Christ. Come to Sunday school you will find it to be a great reward. |

People will disagree with something they don’t believe is true. Believing in the Holy Bible as truth is called faith and after studying it for years I have found it to be the complete truth.
MATTHEW 6:30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Science and all the rest of the facts are believed to be true and some of it is. Just don’t have faith that what people throughout history have a theory on or deciding is truth through science or any other way of explaining the truth. Gods word is the only whole truth. MARK 2:5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee. If you don’t have faith in Christ that is intentional ignorance. Jesus had to sacrifice His life because we have a free will to do Write or Wrong. God doesn’t make us do anything we have the right to choose. LUKE 7:7 Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed. 8 For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. 9 When Jesus heard these things, he marveled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. 10 And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick. You have to have faith in what Christ is telling you. Study the bible, KJV is the best it was one of the first English translations. Jesus Christ died and rose from the grave to save you and me. 1THESSALONIANS 5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation. The message to anyone that hasn't accepted Christ is mostly unwanted. |

The reason I tell others about Christ is that God told me to go into his entire world telling about Him. If you have not received salvation all you have to do is ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins. MATTHEW 10:38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. MARK 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. JOHN 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. JOHN 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. ACTS 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. ROMANS 3:3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? 1CORINTHIANS 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; HEBREWS 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him ; I suggest you read the whole word of God as I can only put a few verses here. this is another of those ambiguous sections , it is unclear if this direction was SPECIFICALLY to the disciples present or if it was a general direction for all followers of Christ I happen to think it was mostly a SPECIFIC instruction but logical to use as a good example of fellowship with Christ I dont think we are all meant to 'preach' to others, necessarily, if the point is to point others to God, because not everyone learns the same way we can point people to God in many ways, by sharing the word, by being an example of 'christ like' living, by treating others with 'christ like' love,,,,etc,,,, it is not every christians duty to 'preach', in my opinion,,but it is not wise to deny God before men(act ashamed or embarassed, refrain from speaking of or about him due to embarassment or fear of being outcast) ,,,just my opinion though All Christians are supposed to tell others of Christ. You don't necessarily have to preach to them. you can choose to keep it to yourself but why? |
