I always considered myself a Christian because I always believed in Christ and tried to treat people nice but there is more to being a Christian than being nice or helping others.

You have to ask Christ for salvation then be careful that you don't start following something other than Christ.

DEUTERONOMY 11:16 Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;

A person in life can be fooled into following anything if they let themselves. When I was twenty God put me in the right place to get the message of salvation and I asked Jesus Christ to save me. Christ will allways come to you at least once and more than likely several times don't push Him away.

2CHRONICLES 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Since i have been saved I have tried to be a good witness for Christ. As a Christian I have been led to tell of Christ and love everyone.

If you’re not saved today Christ loves you and wants to give salvation to you. Here is a sample prayer, ask God for salvation in Jesus Christ’s Name. Have faith in what your praying and you will be saved.

“Dear Heavenly father I know that I have sinned against you and am deserving of punishment. But Jesus Christ took the punishment that I deserve, so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven."

"Jesus Christ, with your help I place my trust in you for salvation, and I ask that you will forgive me of my sins. I thank you for your wonderful grace and forgiveness.”

Come and tell a Christian church you have asked for salvation and they will help you grow in Christ. Come to Sunday school you will find it to be a great reward.
