If you don’t raise your children up to serve the Lord you will not do them any favor. They see everything you do in life and try to emulate the way you live.

MATTHEW 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

You don’t necessarily have to have kids to be a good influence on them. They will look at you to know how to be an adult. How you live teaches our youth how to act as they mature. So even as you mature you need to be a good influence on others.

MARK 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

Human suffering is caused by a choice someone made; Sin is what caused the suffering that came upon the earth. When Adam took a bite of whatever fruit that was he caused the suffering of us all.

JOHN 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Evil cause’s harm, love causes compassion you cannot find any evil thing that is not caused by sin. If you never tell your children of God and how He sent Christ to die for our sins you are keeping life from them. Once we ask for salvation the love of God does not see our sin from before, now, and forever.

When people don’t think of their well being they will cause generations from now problems. The well being you feel effects your life as well as others.

PROVERBS 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Here is a sample prayer if you're not saved today ask God for salvation in Jesus Christ's Name. Saying this prayer is a way to declare to God that you are relying on Christ for your salvation.

The words themselves will not save you. Only faith "full belief" in Jesus Christ can provide salvation.

“Dear Heavenly father I know that I have sinned against you and am deserving of punishment. But Christ took the punishment that I deserve, so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven?"

"Jesus Christ, with your help I place my trust in you for salvation, and I ask that you will forgive me of my sins. I thank you for your wonderful grace and forgiveness.”

Go tell a Christian church you have asked Christ for salvation and go to Sunday school you'll find fellowship and the study of the bible to be a great help as you grow as a Christian.

No one really knows why something happens but God does and you have to trust God that He will bring you back when something happens that makes you morn.

JOB 1:1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.

Christ asks us to go to church, fellowship and praise the Lord. When you have that church where you can talk and live life you will see why the Lord asks that of us.

JOB 42:1 Then Job answered the LORD, and said, 2 I know that thou canst do every thing , and that no thought can be withholden from thee. 3 Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.

There is no such thing as perfect churches were everyone does everything right so don’t expect one. There is a church were everyone try's to do their best.

MATTHEW 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Church is where you learn of God and how to live life. Christ loves you so you don’t need to let anything get you down God will give you freedom.

HEBREWS 4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left [us] of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. 2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it .

It doesn't profit you unless you have that faith in God that you will get through whatever misery that you are going through. He gives you that season to get over what is happening. Christ won’t let you take it on by yourself. You don’t need to look for a reason for it to happen. God may be the only one who will ever know.

There are times when we forget the love we have from our Lord Jesus and start thinking materially. The purpose Christ gave us was to bring people to Him stop worrying about how you are doing in this life He will guide you.

MATTHEW 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

In most of our minds we will never be able to do the Lords work very well and we will let it get us down. The devil will use that against us and try to keep us from doing what Christ asks of us. There will never be a perfect person here on earth. We can’t let life get us down so far that were not doing anything at all.

ROMANS 4:14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:

When we ask Christ for salvation Christ covers our sin from before, now, and after too we’re God can’t see our sin. We are perfect in Gods eyes and there is no way to lose that salvation after we truly ask for it. That is the reason Christ had to die for us.

1CORINTHIANS 3:18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

Don't convince your self that your not accomplishing anything. Several churches have been weak because of that. Meditate on doing our Lords work and you will find yourself more free of the sin in your life and you can do the Lords work well.

REVELATION 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Here is a sample prayer if you're not saved today ask God for salvation in Jesus Christ's Name. Saying this prayer is a way to declare to God that you are relying on Christ for your salvation.

It is indeed vital to teach our children the Bible/The Word of God

"Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old,
he will not depart from it."
Proverbs 22:6

"Hearken unto me now therefore,
O ye children,
and attend to the words of my mouth."
Proverbs 7:24

"Now therefore hearken unto me,
O ye children:
for blessed are they that keep my ways."
Proverbs 8:32

{{{It is "abusive" to bring a child into the world without directing him to the Bible.}}}

"But now is made manifest,
and by the scriptures of the prophets,
according to the commandment of the everlasting God,
made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:"
Romans 16:26

"Jesus answered and said unto them,
Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures,
nor the power of God.
"
Matthew 22:29

Amen

the world makes right wrong and wrong right

it is our choice to take the life inside of us, but it is 'abusive' to bring that life up to follow the Bible once we bring it into the world,,,

its truly sad

,,,I think we all sin, and fall short, and the suggestion of asking (and meaning) forgiveness through prayer and repentance is an excellent one,,,

Amen

The Lord knows us before were even conceived and the act of abortion should not happen.

JEREMIAH 1:4 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. 6 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. 7 But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.

All people have certain talents they are best at and should use that talent for the Lord. Christians are disciples of Christ and every Christian has a command to go unto all the world and tell of Christ’s salvation.

MATTHEW 4:19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

Every one of us are blessed of the Lord before were born and John had a special mission in life for himself because he was to tell of Christ’s coming salvation.

LUKE 1:15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.

Tell others of the salvation Christ offers and if they accept Him in there life they will have a great love of life and there destiny will be on the right path.

MARK 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

The first thing God made was the atmosphere and the Earth. All life needs certain elements to live and God starts out with the immediate things in the beginning.

GENESIS 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

One reason God gave us daylight is when the light hits the plants it makes oxygen during the process of photosynthesis among many other things. Night hours allows our body time to rest.

GENESIS 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

God had to make the Earth the right distance from the sun for life to exist and also put the moon and stars the right distance to give us lite at nite among many other reasons.

GENESIS 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

God created man and He loves you and wants the best for you. Christ loves you and wants to save you from your sin. If you're not saved today ask God for salvation in Jesus Christ's Name.

Go tell a Christian church you have asked Christ for salvation and you want to learn more about Christ. You'll find fellowship and the study of the bible in Sunday school to be a great help.

God speaks to your heart if you decide not to ask Christ for salvation you have made a choice.

JOHN 19:5 Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man! 6 When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him , crucify him . Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him : for I find no fault in him.

One of the worst deaths Christ could go through was the one He did as a sacrifice for you. Christ loves you and showed His love for you on the cross. If you decide to ask for salvation you have made the best choice you will ever make.

Here is a sample prayer if you're not saved today ask God for salvation in Jesus Christ's Name. Saying this prayer is a way to declare to God that you are relying on Christ for your salvation.

Do you believe that Jesus Christ can save you? Have you ever asked Christ to save your soul? Do you want Jesus Christ to save you? Questions every person needs to ask themselves.

MATTHEW 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

MARK 8:34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

MARK 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

LUKE 5:31 And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician: but they that are sick. 32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

JOHN 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

All you have to do is ask, Jesus Christ is there for you. He loves you and wants to save you.

ROMANS 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Go tell a Christian church you have asked Christ for salvation and go to Sunday school you'll find fellowship and the study of the bible to be a great help as you grow as a Christian.

The Samaritans were considered second class citizens to the Jews because they were of another race. No matter what race we are as a people we don't need to look down on people of a mixed race or any race God created us all equal.

NUMBERS 12:1 And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.

If we will look in our past we will find out that there were several different races of people in most family's The main thing we need is what God tells us.

PROVERBS 13:3 He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.

After we get over ourselves judging for any reason Christ asks all Christians to tell everyone the good news.

LUKE 5:32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

There are times when were sick and about to die we start thinking of God. How come that isn't so before such situations happen. I had went to church intermittently growing up and When I was introduced to Christ was after they told me i had six months why i waited so long I don't know. I was so happy to know that i would live forever in heaven.

PSALMS 103:8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. 9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever. 10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

Many think that God causes us everything good and bad but That is not so God is merciful. If you don't want to follow God He will try so long and then leave you alone. The devil can really get in there and tell you that God doesn't exist or you don't need God your doing fine on your own.

PSALMS 103:11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. 12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

We have a choice whether to do right or wrong. God does not bring stuff on us we bring it on ourselves.

MATTHEW 9:10 And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples. 11 And when the Pharisees saw it , they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners? 12 But when Jesus heard that , he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.

Christ loves you and wants to save you please don't wait till the last minute.

If you knew there was a way to have eternal life would you take it?

In my life When I wasn’t saved I would do all kinds of wrong things and it didn't seem that hard to do. I used to party every weekend and not think much about it.

The Lord watched over me to keep me from falling off the edge. All i had to do was confess my sin to God and ask Christ for His forgiveness.

2CHRONICLES 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Now that Christ has given me salvation i am burdened every time i commit a sin and feel the need to repent of that sin. I now look forward to serving my Lord.

PSALMS 32:5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

The devil will keep you in an evil state of mind as long as possible so you won’t feel bad about the wrongs you do. Christ will bring you back from that evil mind and rescue you from hell if you will let Him bring salvation to you.

1TIMOTHY 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

Sin is the reason you will go to hell forever if you do not believe in God and ask Christ for salvation. Just because you "recognize God in creation" or "choose to follow Him." it will not bring you to heaven.

Christ would not have to die for our sin be buried, conquer hell and rise from the grave if that was so. You can even believe God sent his son here to die for your sin but unless you ask for that salvation Christ will not give it to you.

JOHN 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

The devil lied to Adam and he ate the fruit of the tree that God warned him not to. Because God cared for you He gave His Son as a sacrifice for you. God will not force His will on you.

ROMANS 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Have faith in Christ, He did the hard part Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself to redeem our souls all we have to do is ask.

Only faith "full belief" in Jesus Christ can provide salvation. Saying this prayer is a way to declare to God that you are relying on Jesus Christ for your salvation.

Everyone In Church should get involved in spreading the loving salvation of Christ. Before anything you need to pray to God and ask for His blessing on what you say and that the person will hear Gods saving grace as you go.

A good start would be to tell your name and tell them what Church your from and go from there. After that give them your testimony or sometime you will feel the need to approach it differently. It all depends on how much time you have and the situation.

For example there are times I don’t have time to say much and sometime they will give me time to explain the love Christ has for us. Most the time visitation means door to door it’s not always that way though.

Sometimes you will get the opportunity to tell of Christ’s love wherever your at (I.E.The store, work, or somewhere else) and sometimes you will be following up on someone who has visited your church.

Not a one of us should be judgmental of anyone that don’t know Christ yet or of our brothers and sisters in Christ. We should serve God with love.

1JOHN 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

No one is perfect don’t expect anyone in church to be sin free we all have sin in our life until we go to Christ in heaven. Christian brotherhood is needed for strength in a sinful world. One of the things you learn is that Christian brotherhood happens in Church. The devil loves it when we do nothing for Christ.

Here is a sample prayer if you’re not saved today i would invite you to ask God for the salvation of Jesus Christ’s. Saying this prayer is a way to declare to God that you are relying on Christ for your salvation.

The words themselves will not save you. Only faith "full belief" in Jesus Christ can provide salvation.

“Dear Heavenly father I know that I have done wrong against you and am deserving of punishment. But Christ took the punishment that I deserve, so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven."

The other day when I was with my daughter, granddaughter and her friend I saw someone sitting begging by Walgreen's. He asked me if I had some change. I told him not now but I will.

Popping up in my head was how much money I had which was two ten’s and some change while about half way in the store I turned around and went back outside to him. I said to myself I will give him my change.

I approached him and got all the change I had in my pocket and handed it to him introduced myself sat down and had some small talk but before I left I asked do you believe in Jesus and he said he did.

ROMANS 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 11 And not only so , but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Then I asked if he ever asked Christ for salvation. He said he did not want to talk about it. I told him all you have to do is believe and ask Christ for salvation and He will save you. He told me he didn’t want to talk about it. I then said you have a great day shook his hand and left.

I was grading myself on how well my witness was. I examined what I had said and thought I should have said that a little different and thinking I just gave him the change out of my pocket what is he going to think of my witness? Then I remembered i asked Christ for the right words to say and He would bless my effort.

2PETER 1:5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Here is a sample prayer if you’re not saved today ask God for salvation in Jesus Christ’s Name. Saying this prayer is a way to declare to God that you are relying on Jesus Christ for your salvation.

When you study the bible the first thing you'll notice is you need salvation if you haven't asked for salvation before. The King James Version Bible is the main bible to study. The reason i pick this is because it is one of the original translations into English and if some of the words are a little ancient you can look them up and get a deeper study Through all.

ROMANS 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

I was sitting in the collage library the other day and see a commentary on the book of John so I picked it up and looked to see what the book had to say and was surprised to see that it talked about John as if it were a book of fiction.

Every verse you see me put here will be out of the KJV unless i make a note of it.

JOHN 8:44 Ye are of [your] father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Commentaries can be handy they can get you deeper into the study but don't just rely on them. I am hearing that people are learning about the bible from professors, commentaries or other bible versions in Collage and not staying mainly in the KJV bible.

Someone else's opinion on what the bible is or says is not what you need to know. Some opinion's are pretty good but a professor, commentary or other bible translation can say whatever.

Now I'm not saying commentaries and other bible translations are bad what i am saying is the study of the Holy Bible "Gods word" should take precedence over anything i say or anyone else says.

JOHN 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Here is a sample prayer if you're not saved today ask God for salvation in Jesus Christ's Name. Saying this prayer is a way to declare to God that you are relying on Jesus Christ for your salvation.

The words themselves will not save you. Only faith "full belief" in Jesus Christ can provide salvation.

“Dear Heavenly father I know that I have sinned against you and am deserving of punishment. But Christ took the punishment that I deserve, so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven?"

"Jesus Christ, with your help I place my trust in you for salvation, and I ask that you will forgive me of my sins? I thank you for your wonderful grace and forgiveness.”

Go tell a Christian church you have asked Christ for salvation and go to Sunday school you'll find fellowship and the study of the bible to be a great help as you grow as a Christian.

As a Christian you must be giving to your community. I have noticed that I haven’t been as giving as I should be in the last few years but it’s something I should do.

There was very few people walking the streets were I live but it seems like there is a lot more lately. I didn’t understand why but I’m not in their situation. The lord Jesus wants us to be giving to the community and not just sustenance but love also.

1CORINTHIANS 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. 13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

God wants us to look to one another for strength and to pick each other up when we fall with a forgiving heart. Some have had it so hard they forget loving one another. We need to be an encouragement to our brothers and sisters.

You have to watch yourself it’s too easy to slip into sin. when you show the love you have for others it takes you away from sin and puts you in a different mindset. Let us not get so wrapped up in something that it distracts us from what Christ wants for us.

COLOSSIANS 3:13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

The most charitable thing for us to do is to introduce someone to Christ but we need not forget the physical needs. There are some that are so down that it takes them from living life to not being able to sustain themselves.

1TIMOTHY 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Our young men and women need an example to follow for they will lead in the future. The youth need to be an example to our elders and the others their age giving the love of Christ to all.

Charity being the main thing Christ asked of us before and after we are forgiven. We need to have a forgiving heart as Christ did. Don’t expect perfection in anyone were all still sinners.

Salvation is to anyone who asks the Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness.

Here is a sample prayer if you’re not saved today ask God for salvation in Jesus Christ’s Name. Saying this prayer is a way to declare to God that you are relying on Jesus Christ for your salvation.

I still don't fear "hell" (a pagan myth)...

Revelation 21:8
King James Version (KJV)

8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Christ died to save you from hell all you have to do is ask our Lord Jesus for salvation with full faith "belief" that He died was buried and rose for you.
