I was lonely yet not lost,
I was walking till we crossed.
I was looking through this time,
I was searching in our mind

As I hear this voice I searched,
Ever wishing never perched.
Waiting for this song of love,
Listening from high above.

Hearing of the songs in time,
Never varied in my mind.
Listen to this peaceful song,
Following is never wrong.

I was waiting for a smile,
I was walking many a mile.
I was holding to this dream,
I was held within a scream.

As I listen to the rhyme,
Heard before another time.
Seeing what I see today,
Happy now I can say.

I have loved you from before,
Ever peering through a door.
Know this door I searched so long,
Following a simple song.

I was happy just to know,
I was holding love to grow.
I was growing from inside,
I was gifted yet did hide.

Singing from a heart of gold,
Walking toward this path I’m told.
If I’m true from the start,
Giving all from my heart.

I will find half my soul,
Walking with is my goal.
To a place within this heart,

To become whole is to let someone know they can come in.

A little one I do meet.

I remember when he cried,
Seldom spoke when he lied.
Tears role down my face today,
Of a life so far away.

Now I see one like you,
Open arms in all you do.
Mothers in life can feel the pain,
Drugs and death are one refrain.

Think of all the love you give,
To this child who will live.
Hold her firm, hold her tight,
Give the loving of your Light.

If you show her how to live,
Once again with love you give.
Given from a Mom like you,
Will show her how to see it through.

Long ago in days of old,
Cold as Ice one did go.
Warmed with love from deep within,
Knowing of that deadly sin.

Knowing love from warmest ages,
Holding true can guide the sages.
Guided to this child of love,
You can love her as the dove.

The Challenge

To be challenged I write a piece,
Not of love and not of peace.
What to write for those who plead,
For a piece of prose indeed.

Though this is a fresh piece,
Long forgotten will not cease.
I could write of many things,
Of a wedding or the rings.

If I chose to write a blurb,
Would you listen to the word.
Could you see the words I write,
Or the prose within the light.

Maybe you would see in one,
Words of life or colors done.
Since you challenge one like me,
What words written are from thee?

I enjoy the written prose,
Smells of life as a rose.
Deeper in the words I write,
Hold the words full of light.

To a place few can live,
