A Merry Christmas to all those who read our writings. I am very happy to say, If it wasn't for this place I wouldn't be as peaceful as I am.

Peace and grace are deep within,
Joyous tidings do begin.
From the souls and deep desires,
Coupled with our burning fires.

I can speak to you as friends,
Laugh and jokes it never ends.
Now it begins a dawns New Year,
Soon my friends, do not fear.

Life goes on with dreams and Hopes,
Followed with wisdom not for dopes.
Bring good tidings to all who hear,
From this place of love and tear.

I shed one now and forever more,
For my friends who close a door.
Do not close this door I speak,
Joyous tidings will never peak.

Hold these thoughts throughout the day,
Joy and pleasure will come your way.
Smile with me as we open some present,
Knowing inside its giving is pleasant.

Given with love upon this day,
Presents of love will come your way.
How do I know this can happen to you?
Only a year since I was so blue.

Now I know of this present within,
She smiled at me and true love begins.
Smile with me as you get your first hug,
Ever knowing that love is the drug.

I wish to all my friends from here on the net,
Good tiding and presents are plenty you bet.
When I was lonely a dream came to me,
Now I feel love and a family to be.

Merry Christmas to each and every one of you on this very special day. bigsmile drinker

Twas the night before Christmas,
And all that I see.
A life of presents
For all who are free.

Free of pains,
Free of strife.
Free to live,
Free for life.

Free to behold,
Free to begin.
Free to love,
Free to win.

Free to accept,
Free to hold.
Free to carry,
Free to behold.

Now that I see,
The gifts I am given,
Come with me now,
To the land of the livin’

Live in the present,
Not of the past.
Christmas of old,
Forever will last.

Last night I dreamed,
Of stories of old,
Tonight I can hear,
The stories I’m told.

If you have heard,
Of Jolly Saint Nick,
Listen my friends,
Sit down here quick.

He climbs down the chimney,
Quicker than lightning.
Covered in red
He can be frightening.

Scared you may be,
As he gives a holler.
Friendly is he,
He’s even taller.

Tall as a tree,
Small as a mouse.
He will get in,
Into your house.

Jolly Saint Nick,
Warms by the fire
Leaves all the presents,
Children desire.

When he is done
Filling the trees,
He gobbles the cookies,
And milk that he sees.

Jolly Saint Nick,
Has his own reason.
Gifts that he gives,
Now is the season.

What will you give,
To see people smile.
Will you give love,
Or walk for a mile?

I do not know,
I can not see,
Love that you share,
Under the tree.

I can feel love,
That you han old.
Presents like that,
Are better than gold.

If you’re like me,
And wish with desire,
Give them your love,
That burns like a fire.

I can hear now,
A Jolly Saint Nick.
He bellows with love,
And hugs that are quick.

So if you are free,
Like Jolly Saint Nick,
Give me a hug,
And please make it quick.

Hugs are still free,
To friends hear my call,
This is my present,
To friends one and all.

Once again I sit alone,
Thoughts running through my mind.
Pondering again this time of year,
The life I left behind.

I left the things of gold n more,
Knowing they’re material.
Searching long within a dream,
I thought was just ethereal.

As I thought of dreams inside,
I knew of peace within.
Following this path I saw,
I knew it could begin.

Could it be a dream of life,
Never to be found.
Could it be a thought inside,
I listened for a sound.

Sounds I heard a second voice,
Deep within my head.
Follow me across this world,
While you sleep in bed.

I will show you son of mine,
The smile that you seek.
See this smile I give to you,
To find a love that’s meek.

Hold this dream deep within,
Search along this path.
Tarry naught far from it,
I’ll show you how to laugh.

You will be alone sometimes,
But know that you will find.
People friends and family,
Love received in kind.

Reflections in a mirror,
Only show my face.
Reflections of my life,
A different time and place.

As I look behind me,
A path I left behind.
I see the distance traveled,
I thought I lost my mind.

Now in these reflections
Christmas times that passed,
Lonely was I feeling,
Forever seemed to last.

Last year I was given,
A gift not made of gold.
It was made in heaven,
A love for me to hold.

Now I hold this love,
Deep within my soul,
Now I pass my hope,
To all who paid the toll.

Pondering again this year,
Of times I left behind.
Never more do I sit,
Alone within my mind.

As Mom wrote in her poem "Perfect" is a state of mind. Acceptance of oneself is accepting this state of mind. Accept the so-called flaws or imperfections as being a one of a kind and you will find you are perfect for who you are. At least I like to think I am the perfect individual that I am. As for being "Perfect"? Nope not me, that spot was filled over 2000 yrs ago and we celebrate that type of perfection in only a few more days. bigsmile

 This poem and all those who see it in thier own ways, that is what true acceptance is IMHO.

If I said I had no imperfections I would be correct. I am who I am, and those things that others think are impefections are perfect for me. I love who I am, and I love those around me who are perfect in themselves. If I was perfect in your eyes I would be someone else who is perfect for you.

Does it make any sense to you? In other words I am perfectly Happy with the imperfections you think I have, they make me who I am.

Your words are extremely elegant and awe inspiring. I love your perfections too.

Memories of a Christmas past,
Some forgotten, some will last.
Gifts beneath the Christmas tree,
Some for you and some for me.

As I think of Christmas past,
Thoughts of love I know will last.
Thinking of the things in life,
Happy children, Loving wife.

Dreams of life from the past,
Fill my heart with dreams that last.
Long ago a dream it seemed,
Loving family forever dreamed.

Trees and gifts from these dreams,
Lift my soul and life in reams.
As I think of gifts I hold,
Given from a love of gold.

Gold in dreams never give,
One like me a life to live.
Live within a dream foretold,
Christmas is a day we hold.

Hold this day in the past,
Love was given from the last.
Breath he took upon the cross,
Given life such great loss.

Loss of life a dream foretold,
Given life this gift of gold.
Think today this Christmas gift,
Wrapped beneath a given lift.

Lifted high unto the last,
Things of life are of the past.
Think of family life begins,
Held inside a love begins.

I can dream of pitter patter,
Children screams and dishes clatter.
Messes from the presents torn,
On a day that he was born.

Born within the oldest tree,
Hold these memories deep with me.
Now to think of Christmas last,
Memories of a Christmas past.

Tears

All my tears upon this writing,
As I thought of love inviting.
Deep within a Christmas tree,
Will you shed your tears with me?

Gblushing

There is beauty in a wall,
Looking at its height so tall.
Seeing all the rocks of ages,
Looking into all the pages.

Pages of a time before,
Tales of life, tales of lore.
Listen to the sounds inside,
Tales of old cannot hide.

Hidden in a land within,
Tales of life can now begin.
Hear the tales of rocks and stones,
Hidden deep within these tomes.

Written from a mortals dream,
Come to life beneath the stream.
Walk along the golden shore,
Reading of the tales of lore.

Lore and song are passed down,
From a sage not written down.
Hear these tales of life and love,
Passed to you from high above.

Above a star and guiding light,
Sharing dreams oh so bright.
Feel your dreams and life within,
As your building does begin.

Begin now to build yourself,
Or with friends an earthly wealth.
Build this thing short or tall,
Look at life like this old wall.

A little something I wrote last year for those who protect us.

A Soldiers Call

Long ago in a far away land,
Brothers of mine did take a stand.
They stood for justice and stood for truth,
To stand for justice, and give their youth.

Younger now from days that passed,
They stood for glory and stood fast,
Guarding the lands we all desire,
They stood strong, under deadly fire.

Who are these men who stand for truth,
Who are these men who give their youth.
Who are these men who give their all,
Who are these men who stand so tall,
Who are these women who stand beside,
Who are these women who help and guide,
Who are these women who stand by these men,
Who are these people who guard the glen.

Think of these people women and men,
They guard the flag and do not pretend.
They stand up for justice one and all,
They give their life when duty will call.

Even in deadest darkest of night,
These fearless soldiers do see a light.
It shines brighter as they can see,
Fighting so bravely for you and me.

As they march or seek in the night,
Dangers we know could snuff out their light.
Carefully aimed by colonels and staff,
Into the fray with none who will laugh.

Wave in honor to those who will share,
All of the life their body can bare.
Do not mock these soldiers who fight,
Guarding the walls each deadly night.

I will salute you, these soldiers so tall,
Those who will give life, and liberty all.
Liberty, Life, precious indeed,
If you would ask a soldier in need.

He will answer as he stands tall,
Never in need is my duties call.
Call on me now if you need my help,
I will protect you from seas filled with kelp

Look over there I show you my wealth,
My M16 filled and the latest stealth.
That is all I use to help those in need,
Today it’s my duty, My Duty indeed.

Never mourn me when my soul leaves,
My life is given, for those who will greave.
Greave for the day that liberty falls,
My M16 empty and my countries walls.

If this were to happen and you found a clip,
Please slip it, and pull the bolt quick.
These are the things that hold liberty’s gold,
Words from a soldier, and by a bard told.

I tell you now a soldier is true,
He stands proudly, for red, white and blue.
He stands boldly, for me and you,
He stands tall, for all that we do.
He stands alone, sometimes for days,
He stands in mud, lost in the haze.
He stands with pride, on Liberty’s walls
He stands with friends, when duty calls
He stands alone, in a far away land,
So long ago, this soldier does stand.

Answer me this and think real hard,
Would you stand alone in this big yard.
Miles away from family and friends,
Standing alone, a yard to defend.

Kids will play, and poets will call,
Soldiers alone will stand on the wall.
Guarding the things on liberty’s wall,
Guarding our liberty’s, A Soldiers Call.
